I’m a big NF fan because I discovered him from his first album and he didn’t have more than 50k subs and I always told my brothers he was an amazing lyrical rapper.
The lines: "And y'all know what's stupid? I thought all you had to do was get a record deal and yo things start moving" are in reference to 2012 when NF signed with Xist Music. That deal fell through and ended in a legal battle. In 2014 NF signed with Capitol CMG (CMG stands for "Christian Music Group"). That is when NF's modified NF EP came out in 2014. That was then followed up by Mansion in 2015. Xist Music still holds the rights to a handful of unreleased songs by NF to this day.
All I have was released prior to Mansion album on an EP self titled NF and was later added to Mansion album. Look at the posting date of the video to verify. It was his first release since his 2010 Moments album which is why he says" People wonder if I still rap now"

He went under his name Nathan Fuerstein for awhile. He was doing a lot of singing. He had an album called “moments” that wasn’t great and not many ppl listen to myself included. This is the start of NF. And the production quality wasn’t the greatest for him back then. So that’s prob why his voice sounds strained.
Nate was ripped off by his first label. They kept saying they were going to release an album, but never did, so Nate had to take them to court to get out of the ripoff contract. He then was not able to put out music for a short period of time. He released Moments plus several other EP's independently. He was finally invited to come sing for Columbia and was signed to their Christian label, but they let him be himself. So, yes he had to take a forced break. Columbia has gone back and released his older music under their label. NF's last 2 CDs are now under his own independent NFRealMusic label, so Nate has total control, but also has support from Columbia, where needed.

I’m a big NF fan because I discovered him from his first album and he didn’t have more than 50k subs and I always told my brothers he was an amazing lyrical rapper.
The lines:
"And y'all know what's stupid?
I thought all you had to do was get a record deal and yo things start moving"
are in reference to 2012 when NF signed with Xist Music. That deal fell through and ended in a legal battle. In 2014 NF signed with Capitol CMG (CMG stands for "Christian Music Group"). That is when NF's modified NF EP came out in 2014. That was then followed up by Mansion in 2015. Xist Music still holds the rights to a handful of unreleased songs by NF to this day.

All I have was released prior to Mansion album on an EP self titled NF and was later added to Mansion album. Look at the posting date of the video to verify. It was his first release since his 2010 Moments album which is why he says" People wonder if I still rap now"

His very first album was Moments. He went by his real name back then Nate Feuerstein. It was a Christian album before I he made the switch to just rapping about his life and mental health. There was practically a 5 year gap between Moments and Mansion.

It nf newest one witch he did with a fan he posted a clip of of a song he was working on instergram but he said that he was not going to release it because he has a few song that he just don't feeling like putting out and this is going to be one of the but a few day after it he say a cover by a fan and he like it so much the he dm her and asked he could he use he vocals in the song and put her as a feature and release it a couple of days later as a( single/demo)
Then after this you can do his new mixtape he related this year where you already watch story but when you get to this part the best way to do it in order of the mixtape
He went under his name Nathan Fuerstein for awhile. He was doing a lot of singing. He had an album called “moments” that wasn’t great and not many ppl listen to myself included. This is the start of NF. And the production quality wasn’t the greatest for him back then. So that’s prob why his voice sounds strained.
Nate was ripped off by his first label. They kept saying they were going to release an album, but never did, so Nate had to take them to court to get out of the ripoff contract. He then was not able to put out music for a short period of time. He released Moments plus several other EP's independently. He was finally invited to come sing for Columbia and was signed to their Christian label, but they let him be himself. So, yes he had to take a forced break. Columbia has gone back and released his older music under their label. NF's last 2 CDs are now under his own independent NFRealMusic label, so Nate has total control, but also has support from Columbia, where needed.
