I've been to the Goodwill bins once and recorded still working on the footage. But I live far from one of those establishments. When I visit my son in Green Bay I go to the St Vincent de Paul bins which is a hit and miss. I will say it's an experience when you go there. My issue is I don't live close to anything. Yeah we're 3 to 4 hours from any bins stores, but we're close to millions of acres of national forest.

Wow nice finds. I don't usually pickup clothing but when I'm at the bins the price is right. I'll even start scanning DVDs CDs and books down at the bins. Had some pretty big scores.
Many of the goodwill outlets were sheltered workshops before they ended the practice a few years ago, so filming and photography weren't allowed in those locations. Some of them have kept up the ban even though they ended the SWs a few years ago. I got threatened with arrest at an outlet that was a SW once because I kept taking my phone out and someone complained that I was videotaping the workers. I was just texting with my friends. The security guy was cool though. People are ridiculous.
I went to the bins in Milwaukee yesterday.. never again.. people are nuts and they only switched out clothing bins.. here in Madison we have ST Vincent bins and they are way better.. I spent 4 hours at goodwill and only found like $100 profit.. here I can get that in 10 minutes.. screw goodwill bins..

Most of the Goodwill Bins places want you to ask if you can record so they know why you are recording and that you are not recording to make them look bad.

Great finds! Question I live near phx and just started re-selling clothes, is this bin worth the visit? Are there any name brand clothes that could be seen that are bread n butters? I've been to another bin in tucson and it was a big doozy no name brands at all.. Also do you wash the clothes before selling them? Thank you for all the tips y'all give!!
