You can go in the monitor and change the hydraulic flow direction to your auxiliary thumb. These new machines allow you to adjust and change just about anything you can think of

@Orschell Excavating Yeah you can fine tune just about every hydraulic function on these new next gen machines. Some of the adjustments will need a 4 digit pass code from cat to change the settings though.

Looking to get a bigger machine that I can still tow with my 25 ton trailer. What’s everyone’s opinion on the 317? I have a Volvo 145 right now and think it would go well with a 317. I’ve been hearing mixed reviews on it unfortunately.
My buddy dustin has the 317 and loves it I have the 316 and like it. If I was to buy new I would get a 317 for sure.

Would most likely prefer the 317. Really dont use the blade on our case 145 all that much. Great video!
317 for sure. I think the blade would only be good to stable up the 315 other than that I think it might get in the way.
Hey bro. Do you haul that D3 with the truck sitting in your shop? I'd much rather have that setup than using a semi and lowboy
I haul it with the blue international. I got tired of trying to get a trailer in places so I built that truck to haul my dozer. I can also haul skid loader and a mini at the same time. It is the best thing I ever done such a time saver. I have been watching your videos keep up the good work.
