Investigative journalist Ronan Farrow spoke with "Good Morning America" Friday about the stunning revelations from his upcoming book on reporting stories that fueled the #MeToo movement.
A portion of Farrow’s upcoming book, "Catch and Kill," includes the allegation from a former NBC News producer that Matt Lauer raped her while they were covering the Sochi Olympics in 2014.

I have read a little more than half of his book and all I can say is it's absolutely shocking and disturbing. He should be so proud of what he has uncovered and exposed. Farrow is a truly talented young man.

I am an old lady and really appreciate the Me Too movement where we can finally call men preying on women ( and children) by their real names instead of laughingly being accepted, being called dirty Old men, and instead now making the perverts accountable for their actions. I was molested as a teen (46 years ago) which changed my life, I married at 17 into what would become an abusive marriage. I believe if what had happened to me the year before, hadn't happened, my life would have been so much different.

So impressed by Ronan. His determination, courage and relentless pursuit of shedding light on what is right despite facing multiple substantial obstacles shows exactly what a Pulitzer prize winner is. While I was surprised by what I perceived to be a George's incredulous expressions, I was not surprised to see however was Ronan addressing each question head-on with confidence, assertiveness and class. He is a fine example of a man.

@@MM-nh8ez i can only speculate, but i would estimate that the attempt at anal sex went uncomfortably bad, and that she may have actually softly said NO, or 'stop' but that matt couldnt hear her over his own huffing and puffing, and grunting. Sometimes feeling guilty about sexual acts can cause people to lash out at the other person involved, but they both agree that she was willing to have sex again, following this.
I love that Farrow has shed such a bright spotlight on this issue.

I was not completely serious, I don't know enough about it... but aside whatever happened in his family, he is a thorough investigative reporter who has guts and so do those women who came forward. It has to be intimidating. A book could be after Allen dies. I bet there's A lot there.

Perfect combo of someone who knows the media game but is ready to expose it. I’m reading his book now and it’s awful how many journalists had to pick away at this for decades. It took all of Ronan’s education, privelege, persistence and luck to get this out.
