I wish all tier 10 tanks had a two gun option tbh. That would make the grind more interesting.

I really do enjoy the content and the website, there is a lot on offer here and it does help. Having said that, I'd love to see vids on lower tiered vehicles. I often see the big names covering no lower than tier 8 at a push.
I absolutely love this tank. The gun, the armor, the accuracy, just a great combo. I play this more than sconq or is7
I really wish they would give it's original speed back, it felt so mobile before.

if it got its gun handling and DPM back it would be less broken than if it went 45 everywhere.
@@ogmechsftw I heavily disagree with this. It wasn't the speed that made it broken, it was the fact that it could comfortably snap you for, wait for it: 560 alpha.
It had Sconq levels of gun handling - except the Sconq only has 400 alpha.

I really struggle with this tank and only have 33% win rate after playing 60ish games.. for some reason people's accuracy towards the cupola is just really great

Actually the only thing that bothered me was module sensitivity..but i almost forgot of experimental survival suite for module protection..i think i might give it a shot..:D
skill, what happened to your comments on the tanks in the index page? their used to be a little overview about each tank of your opinion but this is now gone, is this a temporary change or a permanent one, also why the change at all?

Aint that good tbh , press gold and shoot mantlet , it can't stand much anymore , nerf really kinda got it , the 560 alpha just above barely saves it
It's pretty balanced, the gun is good and the armor hasn't changed at all so it's still strong if you know how to use it properly.
The stats agree with this too, the 3 mark req is 4477, which is above tanks like the e5, 277, 50b, vz, st 2, etc. It's middle of the pack, and if you disregard reward tanks (that tend to have higher reqs), it's the 5th highest in terms of reqs
@@theBhavMan The 3 mark requirements for the 50b is at 4539...the e5 is 4627...st 2 is 4490. That leaves only the 277 and vz with lower 3 mark requirements.
@@lordjohnny2026 depends on the server and when you look. As it stands right now, only the e5 is higher and only on the EU server, every other tank I listed is below the AMX m4. But again, it's a matter of when you look because when I wrote the comment, the AMX reqs were on a downward trend and since then they have shot back up to 4.6k. Still I would consider the tank to be in a good place
Im having such a hard time making this tanks amour work. Frontally they pen youre lower player and if you go a little sideways they can pen you between front and side
Currently at the tier 9 , still havent got the top gun researched but boy, bouncing gold shots even from tier X in occassion is soo fun !! Really enjoy the french heavy line so far, le spectacle commence!😂 😂😂
I love grinding tanks and before I even start I get some free xp (like 120k) to research all modules and play it then, and I did it so with amx 51 tier IX and oh boy that tank is beast of all tier IX heavies. It was such an enjoyable experience. It took me only 41 games to research tier X (I played with 400 alpha gun). Tier X is a very solid if you use your armor properly,and 560 alpha gun is pure madness!
When Skill says "We are going to wait till enemies will mess up and mess up they will" he is talking about players like me😅

How to get KV2(r)?
This tanks expectation values are way too high. It's balanced now but not epic or even that good at all. Probably above avg tank. It's worth 4.3k-ish maximum for 3rd mark. Somehow it still has 4.6 lmao. The thing is, there are plenty of better tanks of every class except arty yet they still have lower expectations. UDES 15/16 could be one of many examples.
Expectation values are determined by the actual damage of other players..therefore.... Someone knows how to play it really well

Yeah exactly ! skill rated Kpz 07 as average tank and amx m4 54 as epic tank, but the truth is amx m4 54 is way worst than Kpz 07. He should rerat and consider amx m4 average and kpz 07 good tank. I think that's the way
@@164Gems read my comment properly mate, I said above avg. I never said it was bad or not good in that way. It's just overrated, and expectation values dont make sense. I think the tank is pretty nice, but if I want to perform well as in do 5k+ dpg, which is on the high end of t10s/ unicum standards, then the tank becomes a disappointment. Let's be realistic.
I am about to 3mark the thing. Great results dont mean it's great or something. Think about contra carro, some reward tank or just popular/rare tech tree tanks. They do not have to be great and can still have high expectations.
Only problem with this tank is that you have to play 65t to get it
For some reason I really ennoyed the grind , and I somehow thing that tier 9 is so much better than this tier X, atleast for me.. i enjoyed the grind so much
This tank still can work well in the Random queue, but it's not a 4* mothertrucker anymore.
If this tank is a 4* then the E5 instantly becomes a 5* tank, which is definitely not the case.
The E5 is simply better than the M4 54 in the current state. It has better gun, better armor, better mobility, and it's smaller, straight up a better tank.
The M4 54 still feels good in the Random queue because of its alpha, just like the Obj.780, a balanced tank and even more fun to play, because it also slaps hard, and even more reliably.
The M4 54 has disappeared from any competitive game modes, pretty much completely. This says a lot about its current state.
I don't think that rate a tank based on how you feel about it is a good and fair way to do.
Because everyone has personal preferences, and personal preferences make your ratings inaccurate.
No way that E5 is better.
The tumor on its turret alone declassifies the tank from being better than M4 54 already.
@@sandboy5880 by saying so, you just proved that you're not experienced enough with both the E5 and the M4 54.
The E5 does have a big cupola, but you can cover it with your gun, you can peek in a smart way, you can abuse its gun from distance. There are many ways to make the cupola a hard target for the enemy.
The E5's cupola is definitely a weakness of the tank, but it's necessary to prevent the tank from being broken.
Speaking of the M4 54, its turret gets pen straight in the face. People don't even have to snipe its cupolas. Its hull is idiot-proof against tier 8s but against tier 10s, it's mediocre.
The hull of the E5 is so much more bouncy if you know how to angle properly.
You like the M4 54 more because it's easier to play, that's fine.
But that doesn't make the tank better.
E5 is a mid-tier tank
you under estimate how important alpha damage is. Bigger damage means you can do much more with less shots. Its a big advantage, making AMX still the stronger tank.
@@baohungle5410 I think both tanks are pretty equal. The E5 was my first tier x tank and have about 1k battles on it, picked up the m4 54 this Christmas and gotta say I enjoy it way more, tbh havent played with the E5 almost at all recently. I prefer the amx gun cal and alpha for overmatching and better trades, and also I find that the frontal armor is reliable enough. The gold ap pen is for me the biggest weakness, the e5 heat is more reliable. Also the e5 tumor is pretty trollish and can easily bounce alot of rounds. The biggest "problem" is that you seldom can dictate the battle with a good dpm gun. Most situations you need to expose yourself way too much if you want to shoot twice for taking one shot. But tank profile and side armor makes it that in a 1vs more enemies you are able to sustain better and bounce shots with your side etc. The amx gets rolled if you lose control and players start getting multiple angles on you.

The conquerors are just superior tanks in comparison to the AMX M4 51-54 now. I do prefer M4 51 above 54 for that sweet APCR and the same turret one tier lower
Conqueror is not as good at trading shots though. 560 alpha versus 400 after all. Also AMX m4 54 has AP as gold ammo which is great.

Well, lokk up the vehicles armor profiles on tanksgg and find it out yourself...
If you are not able to find out how different vehiclea work, you probably are not ready to play tier 10! No offense, just a fact ✌️
Is the stock gun not better in every way? Gun handling and pen.
Not really, it's a pretty balanced trade. Both guns have the same DPM and hull dispersion. Penetration is similar (296 AP vs 315 APCR). So what you trade. Is accuracy (.33 vs .36) and turret dispersion for turret dispersion (.08 vs .14) for 160 extra alpha. Overall the 130 is a better brawling gun with is better trading capability with the same dpm. It allows yourself to expose yourself less frequently and as an added bonus, you take off tracks easier with the 130. The 120 is better at snapping and mid to long-range combat. Bonus of the 120 is that it can perma track tanks that don't have full repairs on their crew.
@@theBhavMan so it kinda like on the e-100 where the stock gun is more competetive but the bigger one is more fun and actually sometimes works out better since you can trade so hard if you dont get pused. Also the pen is for gold shells and i dont like to use them so the 130 is what 250 pen thats so low

The smaller gun is basically a worse version of the s conq gun. Why use the inferior version of another tanks gun when you can use a gun that has the alpha advantage.

Worst than ist was when IT came in game, now nerded ist balanced my Kind of Humor.
Looking at the Maus, I don't see the point of this tank, since gold is cutting you like paper. I feel bad cause I really do enjoy Mauscen and Maus will potentially be my first Tier X. And when you comment "if you find someone wiling to shot gold" I just LOL to that, cause at least on NA Server, 90% are spamming GOLD ALL THE TIME starting tier 7! And im not even joking fellas...Cheers! I will still buy the Maus soon :)
Honestly I thought that as well, but I just picked the Maus 3 days ago and I have like 77% winrate over last 25 games (no field mods and only standard equipment) 🧐
if you angle the armor correctly maus is still mighty. But if you look directly at the enemie he will penetrate your face every single time
The only tank that im playing full gold . Little bit weak against full t10 match but with t10-t8 or t10-t9 . It is too op with the armor

Tbh... this might sound weird buuut... I loved it way way more before the buffs it got. now it just does not feel so fun and rewarding to play when you do good in it

Man I'm not agree with you on you "recomandation" for amx m4 54 tank. Believe me it was my crush tank since 1.19 patch, until they nerfed him the second time. That was the moment i felt the tank is working hard and kind of not listening when i'm playing it. I had such bad games almost every time with it, and maybe the aim time and the speed wasn't the bothering point to me, but the accuracy of the gun (560 alpha dmg) and the critical hits without dmg was the points i gave up. I'm still crying about my tank ,but I tried so hard to make it work in any way with diferent setup , even with bond setup for the gun and ....nothing. I did 100 games without improving results and even with disastrous results and o night playing i got angry and i sold it. (sorry for the long text) Skill I can't believe you the tank it's still fine, the gun is good and so on , and I saw players in randoms are doing like 1,5-2k dmg with amx m4 54 now ,so it's not "that good". Maybe you are lucky when you play it or smth else, but it's not like you say. )

I am glad they nerfed it, i hated when it surpassed my vz55 speed even tho its big....
they need to buff its HP though for such a big tank the HP doesn't do its size justice
