"Atlantic" Slave Trade, not, "Atlanta", which is a big city in Georgia. Remember that those ships were wooden, and wood deteriorates. Some of them might have sunk, but most were probably repurposed for other uses as the Atlantic Trade came to an end. I think that one such ship had been discovered a few years ago. "Google" and see what happened to it.
Because we were already in the America’s for tens of thousands of years before the colonizers got here. They took the land that we had already cultivated and enslaved us over time. We were builders, agriculturalist, herbalist, blacksmiths, millers and every other profession needed for civilization. That is what the colonizers are trying and failing to hide.
The ships were most probably repurposed for different use but they are still the slave castles and forts in West Central and East Africa.

As a black, I understand that I have to make sure to eradicate the negative consequences of that perpetrated lie on me, my family, and my community.
