      Maybe due to laws or regulations they may not be following in their state is the reason they don’t show it?

      We’re on a 26 acre farm in MO. I toss it over the fence into the woods or pasture. Natural compost. You could also bag it and send it to the landfill if you needed to.

    • @must_love_labs
      @must_love_labs  Před 2 lety

      Yes she can do stairs if she is willing to. I wouldn’t force her to. If you see her having trouble with stairs, set her up to not have to use them until after the whelping. Great question! Thanks for watching!

    What kind of sand is used for the flooring in the kennels?

  • @blessedbeyondmeasure-sisdeb

    I just bought 1 few days ago and then yesterday bought 1 of the expansion kit panels because I felt the 5X10 was to small for my German Shepherd who will be using it mostly and that is do to her loving rocks and chomp chomp and I don’t want to risk her swallowing any. But our yard is so un level so I’m assuming we need to make it level for it to be safe?

    • @must_love_labs
      @must_love_labs  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes it doesn’t have to be perfect, but somewhat level is necessary. 👍

    Im a bit confused exactly why kenels are used? I swear im not rude just curious

    • @must_love_labs
      @must_love_labs  Před rokem

      Great question! Why kennels are used varies widely depending on who is using them and what their needs are. We use them as a safe outdoor space for our dogs. As breeders, this is critical during heat cycles. We also use them to separate our dogs as needs arise, like during breeding cycles and training sessions. At these times controlled access both in and out is required.
      As much as we would like to have them with us 24/7, that just isn’t realistic. Keeping our dogs safe is paramount. The kennels help us do that. 👍

  • @larryg7752
    @larryg7752 Před 2 lety +1

    How many dogs can you keep in one kennel?

    • @must_love_labs
      @must_love_labs  Před 2 lety

      That depends on a few things:
      What breed dog, how big is the kennel, local laws where you live…
      For example in Missouri it is based on how long the dog is. The Department of Agriculture‘s website details how many square feet each dog must be allowed in living space as pertaining to how long the dog is.
