Bowfishing w/ Walmart's cheapest recurve bow

- I couldn't bring myself to call it a challenge, I get so much of my outdoor equipment from Walmart... challenge just wouldn't be the right word. It's just life for most of us here in rule America!
After using this bow I'm so confident it will work (if my aim was a little better) that I'll keep it under the seat of my truck. A person never knows when he'll run up on a good spot to bowfish!

Thanks!! It dont take much of a bow to bowfish with. We used to use whatever was cheap at the pawn shop.
I've killed more deer with a Walmart bow than with all my other bows combined. I bought a Barnett crossbow right after it became legal to hunt with them here. I bet I've shot close to 30 deer with that thing over the last several years lol and a turkey.

I was JUST at a shop yesterday trying to get some more string nocks and happened to see that same green childrens bow on the rack and laughed because it was 50 bucks. Cant believe you went out and used one of those toys for fishing! XD
Dang, my shooting didn't do this little bow justice. It would actually make a pretty good bowfishing rig for most fish. I'm gonna start my little one out on it next summer.

I did, I can't remember right off what I called the video but I'm pretty sure I pictured it in the thumbnail. Couldn't get it to work...same thing kept happening. The fish would just pull off.

I should've looked on Amazon first a person can find 40lb full size recurves on there for about the same price. I might have to make another video going that route!
