Creed is a timeless band. Listening to their music helped me get through deployments in Iraq 2004 through 2006. Listened every night to clear my head. A huge thank you to them for the music.

I've been listening to CREED since my very late 30's and very early 40's. Now at almost 60 I still love their music.

Such a underrated band. Too bad Scott couldn't get along with the rest of the band.
He had addiction and mental health issues. He was self-destructive, and suicidal. It's sad how long he went without treatment, and how things might have been different if it had been recognized sooner.

I absolutely love Creed. I've seen them several times many years ago. I'm Nana and I brought my oldest to see them when he was 4 yrs old as he too loves them..My grandson called me a few weeks back and said "nana, we have to make this concert it's the 20th year reunion...well what does a Nana do??? I buy tickets for the Houston show, book hotel room and flight..can't wait to have this special moment again with my grandson. I will be 62 and he is 25...lol Never too old for good rock music!!!

I was that killed that always called my Nana or mom when things were tough also I would call my big sister and tell her I love her not thinking right and she remind me , remember who are ,we miss that shine smile again we need that light. Mourning the loss of my oldest son who took his own life 6 months ago. I've been numb and I guess in shock. The pain is ..well words can't express. I just can't. Can't! Day in day out I go through the motions. Where is this God I believed in?!?
I have no idea what you are going through. But I do know the pain of losing a child. There are no words of comfort that I can offer. God helped me 30 years ago when we lost our baby boy. I would not be alive today . It’s hard I know but trust God to comfort you and lean on Him for strength! I will keep praying for you 🙏🏾

Recuerdo que cuando estaba más chiquito llegué a escuchar hits cómo Higher, One last breath, My own prison o My sacrifice pero no les puse mucha atención. Desde que tengo memoria siempre me ha gustado el Rock y el Metal. Llevo 5 años escuchando a Creed más profundamente y he de decir que no importa que edad tengas o que música te guste... Creed me ha cobijado todo este tiempo con sus letras y solos. Es como si llevara toda una vida escuchandolos.
Escuchen lo que más les guste sin importar lo que los demás les digan, lo importante es que los haga felíz.

I found this band as a teenager, (maybe 16) on the side of the road as a couple of CDs in a pink rolling tote container and still have them to this day, kept safe in a DARE CD case, and I'm 30. The CDs I have are: [My Own Prison], and a burnt copy of [Human Clay]. My favorite songs are "With Arms Wide Open", "Pity For A Dime", "Torn", & "Higher" as those are songs on the CDs I own and were what I listened to constantly growing up. Funny thing, the one CD of [Human Clay] was actually pretty scratched and would skip on the song "Inside Us All" at the very beginning, so hearing the song in full now makes me cry because I need the lyrics right now, I'm going through some tough shit.
One lyric from "With Arms Wide Open" had always stuck with me:
"And I don't know, If I'm ready.
To be the man I have to be."
It greatly resonates with me and my journey on finding myself as a trans person living under stigma from church and getting told that I didn't belong. It made me feel like I should fight for myself, and that God loves me despite how many other people see my view of myself as wrong.
I will always come back to this band as they and others helped me through my years of depression and darkness, bring and keeping me closer to Heavenly Father and showing me that rock can be dedicated to Christ even if they're not actually meant to be.
There are many other bands I found through getting those Creed CDs, because of the rock/alt vibe. Like 12 Stones, Linkin Park, Nine Inch Nails, Good Charlotte, Nickelback, Disturbed, Mercy Me, Puddle of Mudd, Fuel, etc. Of course, most were recommendations from my Dad, but now having CDs from them too, it's nice to listen to them away from my pc.
Part of me wants to do a video on my channel about my past and how music has helped me but am not sure if it'll be well received since I don't normally make music content. But I want an excuse to talk about all the bands I mentioned here and how they have impacted me and turned my life around.
It's just great music.
