I am reading: The Book of Joy ! A wonderful book about HH Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu's friendship and how to be Joyful. Outstanding read ~
I’m about to read it and came to this video to hear what they sounded like. Looking forward to it.

make us laugh in times of self-pity and sorrow. I will miss him greatly, but I know that

It's wonderful how much HH the Dalai Lama and the Archbishop Desmond Tutu love and enjoy each other. What an amazing, lovely thing.
Everyone can love, if the chose to love.
Agree, it's wonderful. But disagree that everyone can love by just choosing to love. If it were this easy everybody would choose love, don't you think so?! It's not that easy. Sometimes every person has more bad or more like a good mood in a situation. And it is then really important that you feel with the person when it has a bad time, see what makes it being that bad. And the really hard thing is that a person who does most damage to other people originally would have needed most compassion and love of the others but didn't receive it and that's why it got so bad. So it got trapped and sadly can't just _choose_ to love.

The Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu, I would imagine, are the two oldest guys on that stage. And yet, they managed to drag their asses down to America to partake in this. I salute them both.

The flame of sadness, unhappiness, disappointment, hopelessness, fearfulness, will be dimmed and gradually be diminished by your confidence from God.
