    Great little car.
    I actually saw a 2WD Panda Colour with a 1000 Fire engine at a cars and coffee event last Sunday. I was actually there to film some Alfa Romeo's but could pass by the Panda without stopping forb look.

    If it was me, I could never sell the Panda! I would keep it as a "shop van". However, an alternative, which I think is also very cool, is a Lada Niva. In some ways, it's very similar to the Panda (maybe too similar for it to be fun?). Any way, glad to see you're still having fun with the Panda. I wish I had a need for it, then I would definetly buy it, if it came up for sale. But sadly, I don't...
    Still loving the videos!

    That's a great little catch up video on the Panda it's one of your cars that I really like and have enjoyed watching the series of videos on it as they have come along , but if it has to go then it has to go there will be a good home for it somewhere I feel like I would like to own this car but there are probably to many logistics involved in it and probably the price as it is a appreciating classic . Don't worry about your motivation about making videos it will come when it comes , I haven't made a video for a few months now but have some plans for changing the interior of the Transit van and also making a video on the Scania I drive you know on the lines of just coming along from one of the garden centres to the other and also a few more of the motorbikes , but keep up the good work Seppo and here's to your upcoming 3000 subs.

      Thanks Shaun... its always nice to hear from you :)
      The panda is maybe one of the best cars I ever owned.... But I cant help wanting to try different stuff... And I really loose interest fast in things that are working well... haha!
      The panda is now sold actually... and to a very good new owner and host of the biggest car related podcast in Denmark... so a good new home I think. :)

  • @darrenwilson8042
    @darrenwilson8042 Před 2 lety +1

    straight lines and flat pressings makes for a cheap to create body which was the Panda's reason for being at the outset. I still think the original MK1 was purest Panda experience - I didn't realise it at the time as it was just cheap transport but this was the 2CV/Dyane - R4 moment in my lifetime. The only other car I have had that would compare is the 3cylinder 0.8 litre Matiz which lets face it was originally designed to be a FIAT

    • @SeasideGarage

    There is something cool about the straight lines and boxines of Panda :). That is why I love old boxy volvos ;). Love the simple but tasty design of the 80's.

    I think Fiat would have done much better here in the States with the Panda in their lineup, just seems like a car a lot of us rural folks would have been crazy about and we can drive manual transmissions, all you need and nothing you don’t!. We had a tiny Suzuki side kick 5 speed manual with 4 WD, it did have Air and Cruise, but nothing else. It was so enjoyable to drive, so honest!

    Goddess of travelling as I know. Never use 4x4 on not loose surface. Only panda is the car. If the others are cars than panda is something more than a car. I know. I have one. I dreamed about to have this car. 4x4 of course. No other car has as many pros as panda has. Cheap, reliable, easy maintain, simple, Crazy beutifull interior, practical(only those whose owners keept rear seats in, shame on those who didnt), SMALL, lightweight, gets you annywhere, good fuel economy even in this times, Designed by DESIGNER, Very sober styling and doesnt attract shitheads to steal it or from it. One hell of a car, perfect product and still not many people are ready even to addmitt this. Shame on them. My one is 1997, 1100 fire engine dark blue metallic. Im sure i have forget some of the pros of panda to mention for example those records like being the first city car to reach base camp of everest and those first to have like that transverse engine on 4x4 car. 90percent of cars cannot fallow me anywhere and also those 4x4 can struggle to fit inbetween trees where i have plenty of room.
