This is the prettiest and most cheerful looking orchestra set up I've ever seen; the stands are so pretty, and the performers aren't all in black, but the women get to wear colorful froofy dresses and they all look like they're having a lot of fun!
They're dressed like Disney princesses. :-)

According to one of the many interviews and articles done on/about Andre Rieu, he chooses all the gowns the ladies wear, getting them in various sizes, and then he sometimes suggests which lady would look best (or really good) in which gown(s).He's done that for years, and it works well for everyone involved.

I agree with the comments here. I'm in my 41st year of teaching music--everything from kindergarten to doctoral students. Of the many things I appreciate about André Rieu is that he and his audiences believe that these beautiful melodies and arrangements are for everyone. They need to be passed on to the next generation. So many young people in his audiences--I am happy to see.

Andre Rieu truly loves classical music, and he wants the rest of us love it too. He and his orchestra bring the music out in the open, and they have fun sharing the great ranges of beauty and emotion. I would not be much for going to concerts, but when I watch one of Rieu's on TV, I am always delighted. Bravo!
His shows are always good and I love his humour and the orchestra looks like they're enjoying their jobs.

I love seeing musicians genuinely enjoying themselves in a concert and having fun. I’ve been playing music since I was 7, it’s not always enjoyable but it’s things like this that make me remember why I fell in love with music and never want to leave it.

You are absolutely right. Listening to André brings peace to your mind and soul while enjoying this wonderful music . It helps me to imagine I am "traveling" to Viena where I am attending a concert where André Rieu and his orchestra play, while,unfortunately, we have to stay home.
Here in India we are on a 21 day lockdown listening to peaceful music

This orchestra is amazing, not only as performers but actors, skaters, etc. When advertising I can't imagine how they would promote themselves, as an orchestra, as dancers, as skaters or as comedians.
