Man, when you had that bike warming up in the driveway, those colors against the white gravel, really made it stand out! I don't know, if the cold temperature helped with the contrast, but Man, that thing just looked like it was Vibrating! 😆. Sounds good, too! I like the purple Haze color... Freaking thing is Sleek! Yep, 20° with 50 mph winds ~ Das Kalt!! ❄️
The Australian DRZ400 comes with that carb and the appropriate header pipe (38mm not 35mm). You can thank the left wing, People's Republic of Kalifornia (PRK) for the de-tuned DRZ400 we get here in the states. Suzuki built all US models to meet PRK emissions.

I was wondering about the stock graphics on these bikes, it almost appears that the gas tank decals are underneath the clear coat on the tank. Would that be a true statement? I see you have aftermarket graphics on yours, I'm assuming the graphics just go right over the stock decals on the tank?

You never need to turn the fuel off on a DRZ because the carb is Vaccuum operated, it automatically shuts off the gas, thats why instead of off you have PRI (Prime), Open, and Reserve
Well you are correct. However, I do. My Petcock is non vacuum operated. I deleted it when I swapped to the FCR carb. But for those with a factory set up, you are correct. But in my case, I still need to shut the fuel off. 💪🏼

As far as the new carb goes, it’s got about 12 miles on it. So not sure if it’s 100% dialed in yet. But if rips. As far as a dyno, I don’t really care about that. I use my ass dyno, and it tells me, it’s fun! Thanks for watching. I appreciate it.
Did the fcr help any with top speed? I've got a 23 drz400sm with full exhaust and jet kit but it won't pull the front wheel the way yours did. I wish 1st gear wasn't so flippin tall. Is there a reason you didn't get the fcr mx 39? Just curious. Jeff
I lost top end. I actually ended up swapping back to the OEM carb with the jet kit. I’m sure a genuine FCR would be better. But it’s costly. With the OEM carb, I can do 104mph. Plenty enough for me.

have the exact carb for a couple months going to put it in the drz sm tomorrow, have the vacuum nipple/intake manifold set up. great video, check out moto cheez youtube, he did the same mod, worked perfect. keep up the good work
