Install a Smart Ceiling Fan | Program Remote

In this video I discuss how to remove an old ceiling fan and upgrade and install a Smart ceiling fan. Even if you have just a regular light fixture, this process will still work for you. Ivan, this fan is NOT a smart fan. The wall control does not require a 2nd hot because the control communicates wirelessly to a receiver inside the fan. You can also buy a handheld remote from Minka, in this case, that will communicate with that same receiver. This type of system has been available for many years. Smart ceiling fans are an entirely different concept. Otherwise, your video is very good.

I have installed a smart carro ceiling fan, but I can’t only turn the light, or just the fan itself. I can’t even change the speed on the fan. It doesn’t come with a remote control. It supposed to be control it only by the outlet, from my phone, or Alexa system. How can I make all work the way I wanted?
