Hi I’d like to ask, how often do you find endometriosis that wasn’t visible on ultrasound? Does it indicate to the level of professionalism of the doctor or is it not always detectable? Thank you!
HI - it is not possible to diagnose superficial endometriosis on ultrasound. Ovarian endometriomas are diagnosed accurately by most sonographers but the diagnosis of Deep Endometriosis is more difficult. This has become possibly more recently. This is a link to the video that would help sonographers and sonologists to learn how to diagnose Deep Endo : czcams.com/video/fNacOVVAM_Y/video.html Also have a look at the website for more videos : gynaecologyultrasound.com/ Best wishes :)
