"more stable machine" is right.. I don't ride far into the bush solo but my Overland 1000 absolutely gives me the confidence to! I did a 350km over land trip on mine for a break in and she's still going strong, still smells new!

People add some cables with a switch connecting directly to radiator fans to turn it on keep them spinning all the time. It will solve your problem. Otherwise it's programmed to turn on the fans once it gets too hot. Be careful tho, make sure to get advise from good electrician or service, otherwise you can fry entire electronics like a bread slice. I know it, a friend has 1000cc of this beast, he thought he knew how to vire cables. He had to wait 4 months for entire electronics could get replaced.

@whiterhinooutdoors4572 I've got 625cc version. Where I live, we can actually drive these on traffic once license plate is issued. If you manage to go with a good pace on the road engine stays cool, if you get caught in traffic you can have a BBQ party with people around you while waiting. Well, long story short, I met with a mechanic who actually works on these machines full time. Saying that if you actually manage to keep engine cool you get to increase the life span of the components, i know people who constantly snapping the belt due to heat. He hooked me up with manual fan switch, I can tell the difference, engine just performs well, other than constant fan noise. I live in Istanbul, perhaps you might have to work out things based on your weather conditions. About that engine brake, try not to go hard on your engine at least 200km, mine turned out to be just fine after second service. Also there is better rear luggage officially made bf CF, that allows rear seat to be available and also you can mount 2 fuel cannister on each side, to me more practical that way.

I hope the codecs works out for you bud. I’m not a fan of the long wheel base quads but they have their advantages in some situations. CFmoto has good initial price value until you go to replace belts, brake pads, normal maintenance. That’s where they hit your pocket book. Not to mention when something breaks. They are getting there though.

58-Year old female here. Have had a CForce 600 (gateway drug LOL) for a short while and was looking for an additional machine that could accommodate a passenger. I'm only interested in driving on farm roads and pavement. The 1000 Overland w/optional passenger seat seems like it might work well, kind of like a cushy motorcycle for people w/poor balance. Should I be concerned that it might have too much power? Also, have seen some comments about people getting injured due to the engine braking behavior. Should I be concerned about that? Thank you!

I will say the engine brake is very violent I had a beer in one hand and the other on throttle and it put me up against the handle bars and threw my dog out the basket just took a little bit to get use to for sure . Only really does it when slowing down and throttling the throttle a bit the engine brakes wants to go all hulk on you but the machine rides like a dream my other quad on same trails I would be beat to crap after riding and have to ride standing up cause it was such a rough ride brute force 750 if your wondering as for power it’s got the power I wouldn’t be worried bout it being to much soon as it scares you you’ll let of the gas but if your after comfortability this is the machine but it’s a monster of a machine it’s big like a tank I do find my self missing how I could whip round corners and tighten spots with my other machines but I just love how this machine can ride comfortable with two people larger adults and feel safe while riding but if you ever roll this machine most likely it’s gonna kill you be like small car landing on you dang thing is heavy and if you do live it will take a den of grizzly bears to flip it back up thanks for the comment hope I answered or helped you out you’ll love it if get one just remembered this most important not sure where your from but I’m in North Ga we rarely get cold weather and in the hotter months the damn machine puts out so much heat you best not be wearing shorts it burnt my leg

@@whiterhinooutdoors4572 Thank you so much for the thoughtful reply. That engine braking issue sounds terrifying. We get a good amount of snow here - that was the motivation behind buying the 600 - I use it for plowing. Had no idea how much I would enjoy it and would want to pursue it as a recreational pastime. Maybe I should look at a SXS with a ROPS, but just doesn't seem the same. Thanks again.
