It's criminal how Ladies' Code never had the huge success they deserved as a group. Sojung definitely has one of the best voices on the industry along with RANIA's Jooyi.
I’m sure that even though the judges tried to comfort her about her mistake and told her not to blame herself too much for the blip in her performance, Sojung felt a lot of heartbreak and regret that day. After all, she’s an artist, and I’m sure she wanted to give the best performance she could. Even though what she did was objectively (especially considering competition criteria) a mistake, I think her performance is so incredible. I don’t even need to say anything about her singing because we all know how talented she is, but gosh the emotion Sojung can express through her singing is really top notch. This is by far my favorite version of the song.... It’s so raw and emotional and Sojung really gets the essence of the song right. This performance might not have earned a 100 from the judges or even from Sojung herself, but it’s a 100 in my heart!
This performance literally made me cry, she's so brave, courageous and resilient. She never gave up even when she was on the brink of nearly losing it.
