Speaking as an Air bnb host from over the pond the way Chesky treats hosts like us is nothing short of bulling . Saying that its your business to run . How can this be when you are potentially theatened to be trown off their site for the least little infringment .Ask for your feedback why bother to ask you have already made the deciision to do what you want to do anyway . we as hosts have no option but to comply (guess what trown off the site )
Asking for a pause is wishful thinking. Microsoft and Google are in an AI arms race of the kind the US and USSR was. The world can only hope for saner minds and a good outcome.

Doesn't look like an idiot but does sound like one. Just listen to his idea about converting skyscrapers into apartments... you can't covert those. There a thousand extra norms that you will have to implement and approve. But hey, when you don't care about people, it's a nice sounding plan. Curious to know if he lives in a high-rise building or private mansion.
Actually this has been happening in many cities across the country as remote work has grown and office buildings have been under utilized.

Shades of Big Brother ! lFeel like your every move is monitored . Just complained yet again classic no call back .I could go on and on but i wouldnt have the time . Preferential treatment to those who have larger properties (of course Air BnB makes more wedge MONEY ) Long wait times on the phone inexperienced staff put on to answer calls NOT THEIR FAULT . Surely this BILLIONAIRE could pay for adequate staff
Brian is awesome , but he delivers the same canned answers while not answering the AI questions.
