The tires you swapped with were the first thing to catch my eyes because I did the exact same mod and it looks great with the thicker tires! I leave the rims off too.
This looks hilarious, all these videos who's trying to improve original design are just a bunch of clowns. Adding new lenses,or glass to the lights , splitters ,spoilers , changing doors ,and more. After their modification I cannot see anything but a red mess. It doesn't look like a f40 anymore. Original front is nearly perfect.
Yep, original build is all about proportions and I think it really captures the f40s aesthetic. Also, just like any LEGO, it would not hurt if they’d use a little bit of imagination to “cover” the headlights. Also, when looking at MOCs online, I always prefer ones that don’t use glass pieces at all cost but frame and shape is the key factor to make a car identifiable.

It is amazing. The Testarossa is my favorite Ferrari. I'm turning my extra 812 into either a 458 Italia or a La Ferrari.
