Today was Hannah Grace,s 10th birthday. We spent the day in Pundaquit, San Island Antonio Zambales. We has such a great time Island Hopping and swimming in the South China Sea.
Pundaquit is a fishing village located in San Antonio, Zambales. The primary livelihood in this small, yet lively and beautiful town is fishing and tourism. Locals who speak both Ilocano and Zambal, also speak Tagalog as well.

Thanks for posting this. It's been 51 years since I was out to Capones & Camara Islands. I was stationed at US Naval Communications Station San Miguel about 2 k north of Pundaquit. After my first trip out to the islands I was hooked. It was an idyllic time and place. Beach and islands by day, watching beautiful sunsets while sipping a San Miguel, and then in to the 'cross roads' for more San Miguel and excellent live bands. I still can't believe the Navy paid me to be there. Thanks again.

Nice place to scuba dive.
I did extensive scuba diving (about 150 dives) at the Capones Islands when I worked at the USAF Radar Station (82-89) just north of San Miguel NCSP. I also sailed and windsurfed out there. It's so nice to see that beautiful scenery again. Thank you.
If you are ever in that area again, I would love to see the old Base area, The Radar area 3 miles north and the area that used to be called the Crossroads (Bigfoot Bar/Grill). I lived at the Guerrero compound (6 years) just a short walk from the Bigfoot. I'm pretty sure the Pinatuba eruption destroyed the house/compound I lived in. I also lived 1 year there in San Antonio.
The first fish I ever speared was in that cove and me, my dive buddy (Walter Stitz that day) and the banca driver had lunch over a driftwood fire. There wasn't a single other sole or structure in site. In fact most of my Island dive trips were weekday mornings so we usually had the Islands to ourselves. Those were great times.
It's amazing to see the crowds out there now.

wow flash back for me i was there 2011 i married a pinay from punaquit spent 6 months there . theres a old spanish light house on the big island some hundreds of years old maby one day you checkit out i did its worth the hike
Were there goats around the lighthouse? I was there several times in 1971 and remember seeing goats and wondering how they got out there.

A lot more people know about it than used to. It's really grown since I was there in 2012 and I saw it develop a lot between 1979 and then. It's pretty close to our place in San Antonio as a matter of fact I've even walked there a couple of times, It's about 3 miles. Great seeing the place again. Thanks!
Woow this place is heaven, and here I thought cape Town is beautiful, Philippines, what an exotic place the scenery is absolutely spectacular and the water, so tempting I could almost feel myself in their hehehhe, very nice video

I love the water in the Philippines as it is always so warm and nice to be in unlike the Pacific Ocean here in California because it's always chilly. Anyway next year I will be in the Philippines and enjoying an extended stay in Tagaytay.

I was looking around some places to visit in the Phillipines when I came across your video. Thank you for posting as its very informative. I've shown the video to my kids (14, 11 & 8 yrs old) who have visited the Philippines only once but didnt get the chance to tour around. Im one of the filipinos who left the country to work abroad to the UK. Ive been away since 2000 and I only went home for a couple of weeks twice in 18 yrs. I also watched ur other videos, Coincidentally I grew up in Angeles city and now whenever I miss angeles city I watch ur videos. Ironic that im getting info about philippines from a foreigner. Thank u for loving the Philippines.... ps i just subscribed

You can find a beautiful resort along the beach owned by my wife’s relative a little north of Pundaket.
Great video brother nice editing with the music and transitions, I too love this area and it's surprising that most of the resorts in that area are not easy to find or make reservations with, I can only find now a handful of them on Expedia and Agoda.

To late to ask, but would have been nice with a walking video in subic. I usually stay in Vikings (just before johans diving/lagoon resort). Its not a great place but good for scandinavian people that like drinking and chatting.

there are many hidden beautiful beaches in the philippines with beautiful mountain sceneries but to get there is difficult because of bad roads. i would go straight to palawan islands. it is so beautiful with developed infrastructures and hidden beaches
