Uhaul trucks have numbers on them, on the outside and on dash (which is why he checked inside). For a pickup truck it is BP followed by 4 numbers and a letter. It’s not hard to know if it’s your truck or not

I own a moving company and have had to rent their pickups from time to time. Those things are surprisingly fast. I'm not surprised that he was burning those tires.
The uhaul near me switches from the Chevy Silverado to the Ford f150 every year or so they change..last time I rented a Silverado was an 09 model with the 5.3. Had that baby in 3rd gear at a stand still posi trac all day..

I think you have a new engine and transmission for the blazer.
i was getting ready to comment this but that truck didnt have 4x4 so im not sure if the trans would fit the blazer
Simple, either get a divorced transfer case and run a short drive shaft to it from the transmission. Or, swap the tailshaft and housing for a 4x4 housing. Advanced adapters also sells tailhousings that mate their atlas transfer case to 2wd transmission

These guys at BOTH U-Haul locations were really great sports on this!! As a former Avis employee...I brought back a car I rented with the spare mounted, and employee rentals ALL require a manager check them in, so the manager comes out (and we knew each other) and he says "itsnotme07, didn't this car have 4 good tires when it left the lot?" Well of course it did, but when you're in a rental car....things happen. Stuff you wouldn't drive over in your own car, becomes an option with a rental. So I got to take my own rental back up to fleet for service, because I did it. LOL Great prank!! Probably a lot easier to do this with a regular car rental company. Graphics...tough...and that first U-Haul...surprised he didn't just try to scan the vehicle and would have found (like the second place) it wasn't theirs.

😆😂🤣 As someone who has previously worked at U-Haul for a significant amount of time......... THIS SHIT IS HILARIOUS!! It was my first job working for a major company. Before U-Haul I was working landscaping with my friend’s dad. Strangely I actually REALLY ENJOYED working at U-Haul!! It is hard work but my location was AWESOME! The manager was awesome and I personally knew most of my coworkers. My best friend at the time worked there another one of our friends applied and got hired too. A year into the job I got my cousin a job up there. A couple months after that I got my then girlfriend/baby momma a job.
The last guy was awesome for laughing and catching on fast. The first guy acted like they drowned his cat. Some people take their jobs too seriously.
