Kilimanjaro in 3 Minutes

In January 2022 Puck Zevenbergen and Eva Moller climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with Bookatrekking.com and Enosa Expeditions for Make A Wish. Make-A-Wish Netherlands fulfills the wishes of children between the ages of 3 and 18 with a serious and sometimes life-threatening illness.
Puck and Eva chose the 7-day Machame Route as offered by Enosa Expeditions. The Machame Route is also known as the Whisky Route. The Whisky Route? Exactly. Sounds much cooler than the Marangu Route, of course. The Marangu Route is also known as the Coca Cola Route or the Tourist Route. Although the Machame is not as technically demanding, it is considered to be more challenging than the Marangu. The Machame Route is now considered the most popular trek, not only because of its high success rate but also because of the highlights on the trail, such as the Shira Plateau, the Lava Tower and the Barranco Wall. Despite the fame of the Machame Route, the prices are relatively low.
