There's a bonus reaction at the end of this video! A lovely viewer shared a link to what happens when you meet up with Aerith when you are on a date with someone else (or alone). Note that it is stiched into this video, reaction is AFTER I've already done all the GS dates(and completed the game) on my blind run.

The whole Loveless play reflects FF7 story so much. Even in the beginning, 3 heroes are going on a journey (imo Cloud, Zack, Sephiroth) One's life cut short (Zack), another one is slain (Sephiroth), only one remains who becomes a prisoner (Cloud).
In the play we can see Jessie (the Goddess/Rosa) interact with a black haired hero whose life cut short, they tried to reach hands but were separated. (Zack).
Then a blond haired hero almost gets killed until Jessie appears and heals him, and we'll the rest is history, and in the end of the dance they hug. ❤

Cloud catching Aerith’s flower petal and holding it to his heart, Aerith confessing her feelings for Cloud and wanting to be with him now and them holding hands. I loved it so much.
Also you see Cloud’s lips moving after they start holding hands. He’s saying something to her but the words are quite literally drowned by fireworks. I hope we get to know what he said one day.

I sometimes wonder if this entire trilogy isn’t happening in Cloud’s mind and that it ends with his death and reunion with her in the lifestream. (Where or when, I wish I could say…)
It's impossible for this entire sequence with Aerith to ever get old. I love experiencing it over and over again through others playthroughs. Especially with you with how incredibly intuitive you are with Cloud and Aerith's dynamic. Beautiful playthrough, look forward to the home stretch coming up, it's a wild ride.

Aerith's song even corresponds to HOLLOW. It seems that the place where Cloud and Aerith first met was also called Loveless Street. Aerith stood at the entrance of Loveless Theater and met Cloud. I don't know if all this has any implications for their future.

Exactly! People say the tifa's date is better because they kiss, but in aerith's case it wouldn't make sense considering that they only know eachother for like...weeks/days. So even cloud having feelings for aerith (and he has), a kiss it would be a very odd and hasty move, specially considering how shy cloud is and the japanese culture where fisical gestures of affection are very intimate. So for me me it made sense that at that time he kiss tifa (he knows her for years) and not aerith
@raquelmota14 Exactly!! I wanna add on to your thought if you don't mind! I think, especially with what Aerith talks about in the skywheel cutscene, that a kiss at that point in time wouldn't make sense for their relationship. Aerith talks about wanting to find the real Cloud, she knows to an extent that Cloud's memories are "clouded" in a sense... he's not fully himself and Aerith sees that. A kiss between them, as much as I would love to see it, would not make sense until Cloud was fully himself. I'm gonna avoid spoilers as much as possible, but regardless of if the two get the opportunity to kiss or not, their love for one another is so real and integral to the story. I love their dynamic so much, their love is just so clear to me and I'll always be a clerith fan regardless.

1. The conversation with Aerith at Gongaga and him remembering Zack at Neibelheim really left Cloud unsure of Aerith, he really didn’t have an incentive to approach Aerith. But Aerith made it clear to Cloud, that it is him that she’s interested in now. The gold saucer date was peak romance. The intimate hand holding, Cloud mesmerized by Aerith on stage, Aerith looking at him too. They couldn’t stop staring at each other.
2. Have you heard the full version of no promises to keep? The in-game song is the loveless version, which is shorter. The long version of the song is so heartbreaking but beautiful. To me, no promises to keep is an answer to Clouds Hollow theme. Pleaseee!!!! devs give these two yearning pookies a happier ending in part 3.
3, Glad someone noticed Cait sith “betrayal” as Cait protecting his new friends. He was concerned ever since they arrived to the gold saucer.
Loved everything about the date! I really loved that they kept it so true to the OG as well, that to me means that Aerith in all the different worlds love and cherish Cloud 🥹❤️ she's so focused on the real him. These two are peak romance.

Love the build up on their relationship nothing they do feels sudden or abrupt, their actions feels natural for them. It doesn't feel forced, or out of character.

Let me drop some Loveless play lore on you:
Idk if you went through every play in different dates after Rebirth, but Aerith is a default Rosa if your date is Red, Barret, her, or Vincent/Cid/Cait. Tifa and Yuffie are playing Rosa only on their dates and there is a slight difference in dialogues.
Yuffie and Tifa always talk about Goddess in a 3d person, "Goddess helped them", Goddess guided Tifa to Alphred cell and etc. Aerith is the Goddess in her play, she is the one who helps Alphred, all her dialogues reflect that, while in other girls dialogues they always thank the Goddess.
Another detail in S performances Tifa's Rosa calls Cloud a true hero, and how he finally was able to become a hero. Yuffie's pretty much the same but with humor.
Aerith is the only one who speaks about their power of true love in S performances (like in yours).

And Aerith in S performances talks about their true love, in A performance she calls him a hero, in worser perfomances she jokes that her power helped them win and what he would be doing without her (so basically she is the Goddess in a play).

The credits feature Aerith as Rosa (but don’t show any of the gondola dates). Just like in Remake: only Cloud’s resolution scene with Aerith is shown in the credits there.
I don't know if you've noticed, but each scene with dialogue choices for affinity is much more romantic and elaborate with Aerith than with Tifa. If you haven't noticed, take another look. I’m convinced that, for the devs, Cloud and Aerith are canon.

That was fun to watch! I guess the "Zack Guy" subplot running in the background is resolved with the Aerith date, well, he was still confused if she knows about his Zack drowning headcanon but it doesn't seem to matter anymore now that he knows how she feels.
And I love that for them! Because going forward Cloud is much more comfortable as well. It's like the date happened regardless of what happened 😹 and if we didn't get this date, Aerith still tells her feelings for Cloud!! Love that, there's no getting away from the confession 🥹❤️
I love how good Aerith is for Cloud, you can just see it in their interactions. When entering the wheel, Aerith reaches for Clouds hand to lead him, since he’s not confident. The end of the date, he’s the one reaching for her hand to help out of the wheel. She boosts his confidence and always leads to the future, doesn’t allow him to stay stuck in the past. ❤

The first couple created in the FF7 lore! I'm so glad the devs added so much more to their relationship. There are so many moments between them that reflect Amano's artwork, especially the final battle and the end of the game!
I've loved these two since I was so tiny. The one and only, the real power couple who flow perfectly with the narrative and the whole story!
22:11 fun fact. I'm pretty sure this line about love conquering all only exists if you get aerith as rosa and do good. The other girls as rosa simply say something about him being a hero

How? 😂 You don't get Tifa unless you do bad on all of Aerith's dialogues and quests, almost purposefully... even harder to get Yuffie, Barrett or Nanaki. Aerith is the default date if you just play normally, basically.

I finished the game a week ago, and seeing your excitement over Aerith showing up for the date was like looking in the mirror :) And then your surprise that you didn't go directly to the sky wheel, I was like, omg, she doesn't know the treat that is waiting for her in the show :) And I didn't even try to hold back my tears, not in my play, and not in watching yours. The song, the way they looked into each other eyes, just perfect.
And I absolutely agree that the date was perfect and the kiss would be too much at this point of their relationship. I've seen complaints about Aerith not getting the kiss, and tried to imagine it, and just - no, no, it would be so forced. I watched the rest of the dates, and yes, maybe I am reading too much into it, but the kiss with Tifa looked like Cloud was reenacting a scene from a romantic movie, not a tender emotional moment.
The loveless play and gondola date was perfectly created!! I was sooo happy with every little detail 🥹❤️

Tifa asked her are you okay ? she said she will be fine and better judge of character then Cloud said forget him is so sad. i can't believe that Caith betray his friends by gave keystone to Tseng so in chapter 13, he came to stop black materia by crushing him down

I am so happy to finally watch this video! While there is no "canon date", it feels pretty obvious to me that aerith is at least meant to me rosa. Not only does the story of loveless reflect cloud and aerith, but rosa literally uses a magic staff

I truly think Loveless is connected to the trilogy. There are so many parallels one can find in this play. Sephiroth is Varvados, Cloud is Alphreid and Aerith is Rosa. I find it very interesting that Cait Sith says Varvados only fears true love.

Considering what Sephiroth does to Aerith, it really makes you wonder...
Perhaps Sephiroth didn't just see her as a threat due to her powers, but also because of her relationship with Cloud🤔

In regards to Loveless
- if you get Yuffie as a date, she plays Rosa
- if you get Tifa as a date, she plays Rosa
- if you get anyone else as a date, Aerith will play Rosa
- depending on your score in each fight, what Cait Sith and Rosa say changes
- there are a few differences between the girls when they play Rosa, such as mannerisms and dialogue
I don't understand how it is possible that Clerith is so unpopular either. Clerith is not well liked in America, but Japan loves Cloud & Aerith together. They got taste😌

Yes I think they are definitely just louder than the clerith group. And a lot more people that don't go online probably prefer clerith too, it's only a small amount of people that come online to chat about ships, look at the amount of copies sold compared to the amount of members in these groups. Its a small percentage 😉

Something I never noticed before- after the song when everyone is applauding- is it just me or is Cid acting like he's really proud of Aerith's performance? Just the body language puts me in mind of a father at his daughter's first performance on stage.

The whole play is just beautiful. Also there is not convincing me that Aerith isn't a canon Rosa 😂 she has a staff, a dress, even the same movements, attacks, and Rosa/Alphred battle against Varvados is literally representation of Clerith fighting against Sephiroth in the end.

The suspense of not knowing who is behind the door is so real 🙀😹 this Loveless/Date section was absolute peak of the peak!! I can't get enough of the Loveless play, how much it reflects the main story of FF7!! And the fights, cinematics and music.. so good!!! I always get chills from Barret's speech at the end.. insane foreshadowing right there! And the hug surrounded by flames and stating that they don't need a promise to meet again and then followed by Aerith's song 😭💖 imo she kinda looks like a bride in that white dress with flowers ❤ the way C and A were looking at each other during the song is so adorable. Aerith really said with her eyes that 'this song is for you' 🥰 the song gives me so much hope that they will find each other in part 3. "Still I know someday you'll come and find me" ❤ as for the gondola section.. perfection from the start til the end!! That handhold lives in my head rent free let me tell you 😹💖
The Devs absolutely crushed the entire Gold Saucer moments! Had fun the entire time! 😸 Yeah, the lyrics of the song are telling us that there will be a reunion.

Im hoping for you to make an analysis video of the date in the future. Heres my own personal analysis.
My personal analysis of the date(this is long):
At the start of the date, he sits apart from her because he's both shy and unsure how she feels about zack right now. Yet at the first sign of possible danger, his first instinct is to move her out of the way of it(similar to when theyre falling at the end of chapter 13 and his first instinct is to pull her in close and take the full force of the fall himself).
After getting so close that they were mere inches away from kissing, both of them get very shy and sit down. However, they are visibly closer than when the date started.
They start having fun, but aerith can see that something is still keeping cloud from being fully in the moment. She can tell he's probably thinking about her and zack. Knowing this, she tells him that his similarity to zack was what peaked her interest, but also reassures him that that's not why she's with him now and that she's happy with him now. She tells him that she's trying to find him(don't let this distract you from the fact that cloud acts less and less like his soldier persona when around aerith due to liking her, relating to her, and her natural ability to break down his barriers).
Cloud starts to bring up zack again, but aerith tells him tifa didn't tell her anything as a way to keep this *their* moment. You can see he's trying to think what to do next in that moment. That's when aerith gets in close to him and hugs his arm, sharing a sweet moment.
He then holds her hand, which is extremely meaningful(and frankly, more intimate than the tifa date imo) because he's had a fear of rejection ever since he was a kid, and he's carried them with him into his adulthood. He definitely wanted to be closer to aerith earlier in the date, but an action involving that level of vulnerability to hold hands with aerith like that is scary for him since he has this fear of rejection.
But he allowed himself to be vulnerable with her and actually took the step of holding her hand, showing her that he truly cares for her deeply(loves her). He turns to her with what I consider a very vulnerable look, and she responds by reciprocating and holding his hand back. A few moments later, they hold hands tighter.
My favorite thing about this date is the vulnerability we see from both cloud and aerith

Pretty sure it's an unpopular opinion, but I actually prefer how the OG game handled Cait Sith's betrayal. Here, it really rubs me the wrong way how he gets so upset about the group - completely understandably - severing ties with him. Because like... you admit you "knew from the start" it would end this way! He COULD have chosen not to betray them, but he did it anyway knowing full well what the consequences would be, then got sad when said consequences happened. It just really bothers me anytime a character is like "oh I wish it didn't have to be like this" about something THEY chose to do/cause.
Meanwhile in OG, we don't get as much insight into what he's thinking/feeling, but he COMMITS to the betrayal and forces the gang to let him tag along. This also helps make his big moment at the Temple of the Ancients later come off better, because I can buy that after spending enough time with the group he HAS come to care about them and decides there that he'll truly join them, sacrificing (one of) his life in the process. Meanwhile because he was left behind in this version, he just... suddenly appears as the temple is crumbling and somehow theoretically gets to the deepest part in minutes so he can still perform the heroic sacrifice even though the game canonically tells us it takes HOURS to get through the temple? It doesn't track logically for me.
I like him in this game but I really think the story tries too hard to sympathize with him and make the rest of the cast feel bad for their JUSTIFIABLE anger at him, when again, he CHOSE to betray them. They can forgive him after he turns over a new leaf yeah, but don't make it like their feelings and reactions to his betrayal was unreasonable! Personally I feel like in the OG game, it was when he helped rescue Tifa from Shinra (after the party loses Cloud) that he is fully embraced as a member of the team. This game tried to speedrun his redemption (and also downplay his wrongdoings) and it bothers me.

Hiyas! This game is so amazing. The play was 5 stars, then the song, omg the song killed me. Everything was full of foreshadowing, it was so crazy, it blew me away. 🤯There at the end when you said, "now's not the time to cry", Jessie, Biggs and Wedge show up! 😭😭I don't know how they're going to top this in the third one. It got me thinking, they are really going to have to come up with something extraordinary to make everyone happy. I really don't think they will be able to do that though, unless Cloud, Aerith, and Zack all die. I hope I'm wrong, I just don't see how they can end this with a 'Zack is with Aerith', 'Cloud is with Tifa', happily ever after ending. Okay I need to stop talking end game LOL. That was so cool the back to back to back boss fights. You did good, nicely done! It's going to be really difficult to make part 3 even more memorable, but I have no doubts the Devs will pull through. They've done such an extraordinary job with this game!

I loved how much focus Aerith put on Cloud finding his real self, and it continues throughout the game! She's always the one whom tries to help him with his identity, and makes it her mission 😭❤️ she's a sweetheart!

I really loved your always genuine and sincere reactions. I admit i started to feel sad and teary when you said « she wants to live … » (after her song) I took it like a punch in the guts. I mean , I knew it perfectly myself when I played , but the fact to hear someone else putting words on it, it really hit hard on me.
So yeah, insanely good moment of the game, and I didn’t know I could have been surprised like this, the play was so good, the fact to make it « interactive » (us being the heroes of it) , then the song, and then the Skywheel… they know what they do for real !

I was so happy with getting Aerith!!! After seeing everyone else's dates, I wouldn't have been sad but I definitely was keeping my hopes up for Aerith. Even though at times I felt like I might've done some "wrong" picks on dialogue 🙀 I think I had like 81%.
Aerith's date was suuuuper romantic!! I loved it. There was so much emphasis on Cloud as an individual, and Aerith finally putting his feelings about Zack to rest. I love how Aerith holds Cloud's arm 😭❤️ and then Cloud taking her hand in his 🙀❤️ got butterflies

I love how they made her turned towards the future and hope for happy times despite all what she experienced. And even accepting what she knows about herself… never giving up about the desire for living. That is devastating when you think about it 😢
Oh 81% ? I don’t remember exactly the percentages when I finished but I had something like 92% for Aerith and Tifa became 93% but after the date, since I finished one quest of her after the Gold Saucer.
And the stats show the dialogue choices give so many points, wow no mistakes allowed 😄

One thing that kind of amazes me about how the Skywheel section goes, especially now: Look at how close Aerith and Cloud are. Look at how vulnerable they are with each other.
How long have they known each other by this point? Like... a few weeks? The trust involved in being THIS vulnerable with someone THIS quickly is pretty insane. With my main friend group, it took me YEARS to get anywhere near that close to them.
Oh, and Don Corneo sucks as always. Running after Tifa immediately... the goddamn *nerve* of that guy! 😠His little Corneo minions are oddly adorable, though. I have to wonder if we can somehow convince Abzu to rebel against Corneo.
I loved it so much! And both of them reaching out to each other was just sooo sweet! It's those small things that do the most 🥹❤️ SE couldn't have done it better.

Yeah, it usually takes a LOT of time. Really shows how special Aerith is, and is another example of how her Ancient heritage seems to make her almost unnaturally charismatic.

OH BOY WE'RE REALLY CLOSE. Seriously, though: Thank you for this playthrough. I think this may be my favourite one out of all the one's I've seen, just because your analysis on psychology and how these people act the way they do is so in-depth and interesting.
It's insane. Like, who knew someone who's basically been a captive for most of her life could be so wise and so capable of reading/connecting with people. It's actually really interesting seeing the juxtaposition between Aerith and Tifa - two people able to read people and empathize in a level that's truly unheard of, but one is outgoing and charismatic, while the other is shy and withdrawn.

Skywheel date is best scene ever i seen in my entire life with Aerith. Cloud grabbed Aerith hand and squeezed her hands like interlocking together made me so happy ❤😍🥰😊. Rosa used a staff as her weapon, so that would mean other dates also use the same weapon. Heh, even the play uses Aerith as a basis and has something to do with the narrative. The foreshadow too. I also equipped Phoenix summon materia on Aerith and Rosa summoned it in the play. Coincidence.
Love the play, song and the date. The way Aerith discreetly looks at Cloud during her singing. Synchronized awkwardness. Reaching out to the other's hand. Clerith's love language: hand holding.
Aerith's Radiant Ward skill is just op. I would definitely summon it every single time I got the chance. Barret and Aerith's synergy skill (sweet and sour salvo) looks so cool to watch. Barret passing on a shade to Aerith and them posing like celebrities. Aerith using her staff like a machine gun to match Barret fighting style. There's also another one of their synergy skill (arcane blast) where at the end, Barret catches Aerith's hand to hold her steady after getting blown back by their explosive blast. He is so gentle towards her.
I hate the tonberry. They're my worst nightmare in FF games, starting from FF13. To counter the Tonberry's instant kill (or death), there's actually 3 accessories that counter that. Meaning they would deal normal damage to your party and no one shot kill.
Corneo is really creepy. But I really like the continuation from the Remake with how the party threatens him. It's just so funny lol. Also, only Aerith threatens by not using her weapon. Just her hand. It's personal. "Smash 'em, Rip 'em" was also played here. I really like it. Wished they played it a lot more often.
The high five development. All because of Aerith. Cait Sith is so cute, I wanna pet him. I watched the og video but the betrayal was confusing. At least, he never really showed ill intent here.
Some people were upset that they didn't kiss, some using them not kissing as a "proof" that Clerith is not romantic, or Aerith is not that important to Cloud.
But like...how is it okay for them to kiss after Aerith just said that she is searching for real Cloud. That would be so weird, he is not fully himself, he isn't ready, he has identity issues, Sephiroth controls him at times...the kiss would be so unhealthy.
It wouldn't make sense for them to kiss, and if they did, I'd have a lot to say about it 😹 I'm really happy there wasn't one. It would make much more sense when he has regained his true self in part 3!
Not to mention he tried to Slash at Tifa in Gongaga. There wasnt anywhere near the amount of buildup with Tifa as there was with Aerith either-childhood friend or not. Tifa even confesses they didnt know each other as well as they thought they did. The kiss just felt so forced and sudden, while from Remake continuing on to Rebirth the build up between Cloud and Aerith felt so natural and thus the handhold felt perfect
Meanwhile Cloud is like "what ? what about the others?" when asked on the date by Aerith.
In the other date he's like "let's go we missed on that before".

Yes, you get it. It's too early for a kiss, especially since she mentions wanting to meet the real him. I don't understand how Clotis and some game journalists think the LTD is over just because the devs only gave the kiss to Tifa. Many fans wanted a kiss in Aerith's date too. The devs could have easily changed her date like the other dates if they wanted to please the fans but they kept it the same as the original. I wonder why.
33:43 I'm at peace seeing how happy Aerith is here. If she gets to live a normal life at the end of the trilogy, it would mean a lot to me.
Right?! A kiss wouldn't fit the story anyhow, not now.. Cloud is still struggling with his identity. So that'd be like kissing "another guy" and not really Cloud. So I was a bit worried 😹 and besides, it would not fit either, since Aerith really wants to meet the real Cloud, and really highlights this, a kiss would just ruin the whole scene.
And we know ppl would probably be screaming "Zack kissed her, it wasn't Cloud" sooo is it the same now that it happened to Tifa? Was it Zack? 😹 But it felt so strange after watching Tifa's date, it was super cute, but just knowing how the main scenario proceeds... Makes Cloud look like a cheater fr
The kiss was thrown into an optional scene that the devs have called fan service that they knew some of the fan base wanted to see. SE even made a parody of their date prior to release (Cloud calls Tifa Aerith, it’s pretty funny).

Congrats on getting Aerith like you wanted! I got Nanaki on my first playthrough. I was a little disappointed at first, but the Sky Wheel part was so cute and had some interesting dialogue, so I was happy by the end of it. I liked that Aerith's date had some of the same dialogue as in the OG. That was my favorite part of her date. Have you seen any of the other dates yet? The "joke" one with Cait, Cid and Vincent is so funny and awkward! 😅
I couldn't help but choose Barrett/Varvados when Cait asked who Alfried/Cloud would confess his love to. It was hilarious. Cloud holds out his hand to him and says "My Love" with a deadpan expression on his face, and Barett was all like "You gotta be kidding me!"
Aerith's song made me teary-eyed, and I cried when the members of Avalanche showed up. I didn't notice that Tifa cried after Jessie's performance when I played. 😢

Alright I watched this video til the end now 😸 did you know that before you start the coliseum fight your party members are scattered around the lobby. Tifa and Aerith are chatting and if you get close go them, Aerith would wave at you because she was your date! Aahh so cute!! 😍
The fighting tournament was great and that Dio diss track was hilarious! This game is so wacky but that's why it's so great 😹 good job on beating Rufus first try!! I died so many times and had to look for a guide cause I just kept dying and dying 😭😅 oh and poor Cait! The betrayal did happen after all. But I like that in remake he was just trying to protect the gang 😢 in the og I kinda hated him cause he just waltzed in our group and betrayed us and basically black mailed us and after he "died" he came back at the worst possible time 🙈 but in the remake he is a cutie 💖

Yeah I like that pretty much every character is more likeable now! Like Cid too is very charming fella in the remake now. In the og he was a bit questionable sometimes 😅
As i wrote in another post i got aerith too. I made sure to get her through the extra side missions that open up in chapter 12.
I think there is something very beautifull when a woman says she wants to see the "real you". There are so many expectaions on man in modern dating... on one hand you need to be the tough strong shoulder thats the provider and on the other hand the emotional available (but not too emotional) soft empathetic caring man. (exaggerated shallow society expectation).
While thats not all but i have seen my fair share of woman who think that you are weak/not date worthy if you show vulnerbility. So if a woman says she wants the real you and its meant from the heart its really special. (woman have it equally tough in dating dont get me wrong... thats also a thing i coud write hours about the problems/complications in modern dating)
Its a really wonderfully made scene with aerith and cloud. I coudnt pick a favorite between this scene and the scene with tifa. (the others are also very good)
That said... 😁.. you probably know what comes next:

Aerith resolution scene is the only one where cloud doesnt stand next to tifa and grabs her hand. Also in the skywheel date with tifa they share also a very intimate moment (i know you seen them all). If we go by what the developers show us they put you more on the tifa/cloud love route (later in the game even more on the nose the like like scene where we get to know more how aerith feels). In the end of the day your fantasy has no limits so whoever you want to be in love or not or never or whatever its up to the individual person.
Why am i saying this? I think its important to know that storywriters write in a specific way and the interpretation is vital. Dont twist things, dont grab straws dont make up things that didnt happen. Dont make the world a make belive fantasy land. In your head everything is fair game. You can write fanfiction whatever everything is good. (i absolutley! dont mean you "slashterpiece gaming" with that. It is not directed at you)

SE did an amazing job on all the dates! I only had like one thing that bothered me a little bit, other than that they were amazing!
I loved that they kept it true to the OG, and that she mentioned that she wanted to meet the "real" Cloud. It's so important to be able to accept one's vulnerabilities. And I agree with you, it's hard on both men and women. But I do believe it's a little more difficult for men when it comes to showing emotions, and it's so important for men to be able to show their emotions without having people label it as "showing weakness"... It's rather a strength if anything.
It's really important for men in today's society to show vulnerability and emotions. Suppressing emotions can lead to serious mental health issues like anxiety and depression. And men (women also) who don't feel comfortable showing or talking about their emotions often lead to some form of mental health issues. Women usually can talk with their friends about situations, vulnerabilities and emotions whilst it feels like men don't really do this. Most just sweep it under the rug and hope it gets better, without talking with anyone 🥹 I really do hope men can open up more about their feelings with other men and women, just talk it out without feeling like you did something bad because you were vulnerable.

Even i after reading psychology/philosophy since i was 13.. having the fortune to be with amazing friends that accept every emotion and mood you can have... meditation/yoga for over 20 years.. the first instinct when i have emotional problems is bury it and grab a couple beer. I wish we people coud see each other... really see. I never met a woman who has not a story of some form of sa and i never met a men who didnt supress some emotions. We need to be better with each other. We need to lift each other up and help one another.
The pesimist in me says that we are miles away from that. Its to easy to hate but way more difficult to help/forgive yourself/see outside your box.

Right!! It's so usual too. Everyone knows at least one or several people that go back to ppl that were abusive in some way, they feel like they can "fix" that person. And you feel so helpless because whatever you say it's not enough, people will do as they want to in the end of the day. It's really sad 😢
And what's even worse is that I'm seeing that all kind of media is promoting so much toxicity when it comes to relationships. It's one thing to enjoy a romance and know that it's fictional, and also be critical of some aspects, but another to completely ignore things that happen which one would normally not consider as a healthy dynamic. I can barely stand going to BookTok now because most of the books promoted are with super toxic relationships, and the male lead is 200% abusive. The brain isn't too good at distinguishing between fictional and reality when it comes to love, so consuming much of this media without being critical can contribute so that people "endure" a lot more than they should in relationships. The whole "i can fix him/her" is so incredibly outdated and toxic.
I'm happy for you that you have such friends! It really does take time for us to open up. Everyone really does need to be better with each other, there's no shame in showing vulnerabilities, it takes a lot of strength to do that. For some it can even take a lifetime, and others will never know how it feels. So I hope that it'll get much better in the future!
I relate to that, never met a woman that didn't have any sa in her past/present and a man who doesn't suppress his emotions to some degree. It's really sad 😢
I think if we implement social psychology into schools very early, make it an obligatory course early on it'll probably get better for the younger generation. And with mental health issues on the rise almost everywhere there should be some kind of help, preferably free of charge (state pays). I would gladly pay more taxes if it means helping others get the help that they need.

The singing was added last minute, but i do really like the song all of Aerith’s feelings her desires to reunite with the people she's met by chance. Not wanting to believe it was fate that she met the people she loves. Elmyra Zack Cloud Tifa. Very good song about this emotionally tragic character.
My date was with Tifa, so i saw her with the Rosa dress, and even tho i like that, she has earrings, unlike Aerith and Yuffie in the dress. Aerith is the only character that fits a "princess" type role she already has a staff, too. But i still think Tifa slayed it in the dress! (Just wish she had more unique costumes too)
I really like that they barely changed the Aerith OG date. It was always about her learning that Cloud is a confused person, and he's not Zack he's more than that, but his true self is locked away.
Unlike certain shippers, i don't mind Aerith wanting to reignite the flame of love with another person she has that right as a woman who is still grieving the loss of her first love. (For my interpretation) I saw it as Cloud wanting to be there for Aerith and help her while she's suffering in silence. While i don't think he would kiss her i think handholding is the perfect amount of pace for him in terms of their relationship its very unique to them and its that feeling of comfort that makes Aerith feel warm and safe.
And while i know Nojima said the dates are not cannon and outside the "main story" i feel like each one is in character for Cloud. These devs wrote these to not make Cloud go full (dating sim) FF7 is not that kind of game. We can't control how Cloud feels with each character, which is why the dates are still important because they still show his feelings in that moment.

Right!! I really liked how much focus there was on Cloud regaining his real self, being his real self. Because it also told us something as the player- being yourself is always better, and a person whom loves you will love you for who you are. So it was a nice reminder 😸 but tbh, all dates were incredible!
I feel like the dates really fit the story! No one felt out of place. Even if I think they could've done some minor changes they all feel like they could've happened! I agree with you, the dates to tell us how he feels and how the others feel about him.

I'm fine with all the dates, but don't quite get what you mean by "way more fitting." I mean, even from a story perspective, this is the only one where the things talked about and things that happened(looking for the "real" cloud and them holding hands) get brought back up
