Considering I have never even heard of Jersey Mike's before as I'm Canadian and they aren't here in my province as least, the statement "Nobody is surprised by these results." Is incorrect.
Fun fact: Ireland tested subway bread and found that it had so much sugar in it that it should be classified as a cake 🎂

I work at jersey mikes, and our cheesesteaks are cooked raw. Our tuna is made daily and our veggies come from a produce company. subway has their stuff brought in-in sealed bags, even the lettuce.
I can't believe they even compared the 2. It's like comparing outback steakhouse to a Ruth Chris steakhouse.

We got a couple here in the last few years. A little expensive but totally worth it.

As a former employee of both Subway and Jersey Mike's, I vote Jersey Mike's. My family and I are so in love with the Rosemary Parmesan bread I have started to make it at home. Plus "the juice" is phenomenal and gives it a great taste

Learned today that I can eat at Jersey Mikes because they have gluten free bread and I’m so happy 😭😂
We also fully clean the slicer, get new knives and a separate area to move the gluten free bread so that it doesn't come in contact with anything. Everyone handling the bread also washes hands and gets new gloves.

I live on the jersey shore, very close to the original Jersey Mike's. Best sandwiches ever, and great childhood memories!
Jersey Mike's is my go-to roadtrip meal... It's SO satisfying and filling... and not sloppy and fried like a lot of fast food.
That's funny cause the only time i ever have Subway is on roadtrips! It's the only decent place in most small towns in the midwest; there will consistentl be Pizza Hut or Subway and Pizza Hut is too greasy. Local diners are good but not if you are looking for a quick meal. Jersey Mikes is few and far between where I live, but when I do go there it is soooo gooood
Jersey Mike's is better in every conceivable manner. Their roast beef is so good. And Mike's way + pickles, cherry pepper relish and mayo is insanely good.

Subways can vary in quality. I can't even eat at my local ones anymore because their bread is gummy and gross.

jersey mike's having gluten free bread is such a big deal. it's literally one of the only fast-food chains I can eat from. Like, they even have an allergy protocol. Most restaurants don't even have that
I never went because I didn't know they had gf bread. This is such a game changer!
Yeah because in reality a true gluten allergy is instantly lethal even in small amounts and it’s actually quite rare to have it. Anyone who says they’re allergic in most restraunts simply say so for dietary reasons for the most part so restraunts won’t bother, anyone who is truly allergic to gluten will usually avoid major restaurants anyways because it’s not worth the risk.

The problem with Subway is that their bread to ingredient ratio is so unbalanced. You are mostly eating bread.

Comparing subway to jersey mikes is like comparing Little Ceasers to Papa Johns or Dominos. Like, yes LC and PJ are both chain pizza places, but there's a clear difference in where their food quality lies on the spectrum. In that case though, it's because LC is significantly cheaper than the others usually. Not so with subway. So I only go to subway when I'm SPECIFICALLY craving a subway sandwich, and not just a sandwich.

Fun fact: if you ask very nicely on a slower day, I have gotten Jersey Mikes to just grill some onions to put on my sandwich. Really elevates the roast beef

Jersey Mike’s is just way better quality. And they have awesome brownies, often overlooked. Nuke them for 40 seconds-great! The only advantage to Subway is their greater variety, such as it is.
I will say, though, that I’m not fond of the cheesesteaks at Jersey Mike’s. First, I prefer my cheesesteak ingredients not quite so blended together. I like to taste each ingredient more separately. And they mix in way to much onion. It starts to repulse me after a few minutes. I prefer the cheesesteaks at Charley’s, where the ingredients are only lightly blended or even just tossed together.
*A suggestion for Jersey Mike’s:* Try offering some fresh French fries as a side.

Jersey Mike's still wins in my opinion, but it would at least be close.
I live in the country so I usually have subway with the steak and cheese being my favorite and we got a Jersey Mikes put in around 20 minutes and I was absolutely blown away at how much better the cheesestake was and just their sandwhiches in general!
Get it with their chipotle mayo!
As an employee, you should ask for a 99. It has more cheese, chipotle mayo, and more veggies. Not many people know about it.

Subway is a struggle meal. Every other sandwich place is better but also much more expensive. Is the price worth the difference? If you can afford it yes.
I was thinking this all episode. Like, 7-9 dollars versus 10-13 is a BIG price difference. That's like doing a "Mcdonald's burgers versus Applebees burgers". Like, one burger is 6 dollars the other is 12, it is not an even playing field.

in some stores you can ask to buy a whole container of it. i think at my store it’s $50
Cento Cherry Pepper Hoagie Spread is pretty close to it. At most grocery stores. $5 for 32oz jar
