Hopefully meet up when you get to Hampton/ Watauga Lake area of the AT. Depends on the time you are in that area. My work schedule might get in the way. 🦋❤️

It's hard work living. Ha! Thanks for watching.

Thanks for sticking around even when you don’t love all of our adventures. Luckily we keep shaking it up! Ha!
fair play you guys, still love to watch.
So glad I watched this!! I've been following you since 2017 when we were full time traveling for 2 years. Settled down in 2019 for a bit since a few of the kids wanted to go to school. We've done some shorter trips here and there. For example: We did the whole West coast drive down Washington, Oregon, California back in summer of 2022 with our high schoolers. Stayed in hotels or airbnbs. It was fast but So memorable! This live stream of you two makes me think about how much I miss the full time travel feeling and how alive I felt doing it. Told my husband I'm sooo ready to go go go! Have a few kids still in high school so hopefully in a few years, we'll be globe trotting again!!😊Subscribing to your podcast too!
Awh, congrats with the amazing journey you have had, more to come! Yes, get back out here. Thanks for subscribing to the podcast.
The AT is a big challenge. I live one mile from the trail. I help hikers when I can, I give rides into town. I am often on the trail in the Lehigh Gap area and it would be crazy funny if I actually saw you guys. Unlikely, but I'll keep an eye out! Excited for you!
Oh how fun. Let's meet up. We are sending out a newsletter on Wednesday with a form for people who live near the trail so I can put it on the excel spreadsheet.
@@WorldTowning Great!
The Appalachian trail goes through some pretty rugged country. I doubt very much you will have any internet coverage over large parts of it. Unless you plan to bring a satelite phone or perhaps a Starlink!
Surprisingly there is coverage on a lot of the trail depending on your provider. Although I will not count on it and will get work done ahead of time just in case we are without it. However, carrying Starlink. hmmm. Ha.
I forgot, the Lehigh Gap is in PA.
Loves from Oregon ❤❤❤!!!
Hi Stephanie!
I’ve followed you guys from the beginning. Just subscribed to your podcast and looking forward to listening.
Awesome! Thank you! We hope you enjoy it.
Hi, consider visit Yellowstone while you are in USA
I would love to, we have never been.
Pennsylvania on the AT is tough due to the rocks, but Pennsylvania is beautiful and the people are kind. I grew up there.
That is what I have heard, good people and gorgeous.
@@WorldTowning Also unlikely but general safety tip depending on the time of year you do PA but we were always told growing up to tap a walking stick on any fallen tree, tall grass, or big rocks you need to step over/through. Sometimes snakes just like to rest there. Most are totally harmless though.
Great advice!!!! I hate snakes.
If you think French people are nice, especially towards Americans then millions of Americans who disagree with your assessment of French towards Americans are all wrong. They are all mistaken and misguided. Okie Dokie.. That is very odd, ESPECIALLY if you thought Florida was rude but not French and France.
I'm more inclined to believe Towning than someone who posts numbers without statistics to back it up- I highly doubt millions of Americans who actually visited France have that opinion.
I actually said "guests" at Disney are rude, not the employees. Although Florida does have major backwards approaches to equality these days.
An American who vacations in France for a week and gives their tourist opinion of locals is very different than someone like us who has lived here for a total of 8 months over the years. Touristy spots in most cities are not the happiest places on earth, it takes getting off the tourist path and mixing with locals to get a true feel of what a country and it's people are like. So yes, they are mistaken and misguided. The Parisians are fabulous if you are kind to them and try to speak the language which is a courtesy we should offer in every place we visit.
@WorldTowning Given that on any day 90 plus percentage of "guests" at Disney World are people like yourselves, people from all corners of the world are NOT Floridians, it was an unwelcomed hit on Florida. You made it clear it wasn't the employees but the guests. Florida residents do not go to the parks in large numbers. We have all probably been there or have no interest in going. I understand your personal politics. I have watched every episode of yours and distinctively remember your rant about the type of people you would welcome on your boat etc.in one of your episodes. Given that background, I can understand what you must think of our governor and Florida. After all we have all heard the misconceptions broadcast daily about our state. "You can't say gay in Florida", "Florida is intolerant", ""Florida bans books and so on. While you defend how wonderful French people are, allow me to be just as defensive of the state we call home and Floridians. You talk abut French at touristy places during a one week vacation does not reflect what French are really like and yet turn around talk about your opinion of "Florida" based on your visit to Disney World . We consider Disney World one of those touristy places that is not a refection of true Florida and Floridians.
@@aytacercen944 Thank you for clearing up the fact that your insult on an entire country came from an injured ego over your state having a theme park in which some people are rude. The bias tells me all I need to know, have a wonderful week
