- in this follow up video I show the bottom skid plate I built. it is brazed together and lets the rear differential articulate to full extent. In the front the single shock was not enough. the higher CG was giving too much body roll on turns, I was going to go to a 1/10 size shock such as the stock but it would not match the rear and they are not very scale due to its diameter. I was able to mount two of the 1/18 shocks one with the stiff spring and one with medium in each side. they work great! this rig now is closer to real scale dakar specs (to it's scale of course). when finished I will post a short video of it running and jumping (it is a small jump) like the dakar rally trucks do. thanks for watching.

I used to have one of those bruder trucks as a kid, but i got rid of it ages ago... Damn i wish i still had it so that i could build one of those
I bought one for this build, when it got home I made the mistake of opening it in front of my 2 yr old… he saw it and got excited...that one is his now. I had to order another one. thats the one I used for this build. they are perfect for the tamiya cc01, thanks for watching

I like the look of that body on the chassis is that a tamiya 1 14 scale body on a 1 10 scale truck?
no it's a bruder man (kids toys)…. on the tamiya cc01 it fits perfect!

amazon, ebay, google shopping etc... look for bruder man u have to have a cc01 or similar as anything bigger will look retarded, some guys put them on scx10 but i think that looks goofy, tiny semi truck on a huge truck chassis and tires o_0
