Miyamoto once said that Nintendo isn't interested in making a game when there's nothing new to add to it. He said that's why there hasn't been another F-Zero. They don't know what to add to the game that would make it more interesting than what they've done already. He also said that they're not interested in just updating the graphics. So as long as Miyamoto is at the helm of all Nintendo-developed games, it's very unlikely we'll get another F-Zero.
I love Redout. It's a different experience, but it captures intense speed really well. The tracks are a bit more tame than in F-Zero, but the game is still very skill-based.
I also heard about when he said that. I guess multiplayer won't really justify it for him :/ I suppose that just speaks to how great F-Zero GX is, that Nintendo doesn't know how to actually improve upon or add to it.
broceratops1337 yea, most of this games tricks and strats are pretty hard to pull off, i was only able to do IL stuff on 2 tracks because AKC taught me haha

I actually found a 2 glitches in this game one in mobius ring with the first pit area and serial gaps with the dash plate on the last turn that actually saved me from falling off the track
Love this game. I hope Nintendo makes another one. They should also make Paper Mario an RPG again. And give it away for free to make up for the last two Paper Mario games.
Did i miss something? Why does he reset the run even if he makes a mistake on the final lap? surely it would be faster to wait for a respawn and finish from there?
You dont respawn in the game, when you are dead you are dead and have to reset the race anyway, you just think you respawn because in suicide finishes he crosses the finish line and it respawns him because he finished the race, however if you fall off track anywhere its game over and you need to restart the race, and its faster to just quit out and restart than to wait for the retired message
For all ppl saying they miss fzero gx, a quick shout out. YOU HAVE NEVER PLAYED FZERO X IF YOU ONLY MISS GX. Its the better game between both, just the music alone in the n64 version is 5 million times better. Edit: Of course this is my opinion.
Something Something gx feels like a totally different game, without the hyper energetic music this game is simply not the same.. I'm so sad I don't enjoy gx as much as the community does, but I like x so much better for various of reasons.
Mound'N If all you see in a racing game like F-Zero is a frikin soundtrack then the problem may just be that you don't care enough for F-Zero on a base level. I enjoy F-Zero for its gameplay alone, hence why the brutality that is GX is so satisfying and adrenaline pumping at the same time.
The track designs in this game are just incredible.

the announcer had the wrong event list open and read a dono from their last event. Simple mistake there is a clip of him saying he messed up somewhere

Music may be better, but the presentation of GX is what wow'd me the most, since the appeal of F-Zero games have been the intensity and visuals.
