8:09 They're air vents to allow the air out of the water tank when filling up. This was mainly for operating with water troughs (which is what the larger hump is for, help deflect the water into the tank from the water scoop beneath the tender) as the filler cap would be closed when taking on water from the troughs.
8:06 they are tender vents when the tenders water scoop is dropped and picks up water from the water trove the vents prevent the tender being a vacuum when picking up the water
I really want to see Hybrid Thomas. Longer body, safety valve in place of the two whistles, and the running board sloping at the back. Then, I can die happy.

11:52 Fun fact, or idea if you consider it a nice addition: Here in Hungary many steam engines had step ladders hanging down from the buffer beam (usually just a single step suspended in two bars) example: MÁV 324 class. I know Sodor is nowhere near Hungary but it could be a nice adition if any engine has problems filling up the front view.
I love this series! I also love how you just casually revealed a finished hybrid percy with no progress images at all 😂

Yeah, it looks like Percy is done, so that’s something I’d like to see. It would also allow you guys to continue working on Edward and Thomas.
Once again SudrianRails, you did a fantastic job with your hybrid series models. Now the island of Sodor's big three known as Gordon, Henry, and James are complete, i like to see how Percy, Edward, and Thomas would turn out in their hybrid series form. Keep up the good work!
I really love this model. The next model should be Edward. He is the last of the Three Railway Engines. But I glad James is here now sense he's my favorite character!

Like the red mogul himself, this is a splendid looking model. As for which character to see next: I'm gonna go with Percy. Seeing as he does appear to be the most completed. Would like to this animated unboxing too.
I think Sudrian Toys would be a great idea! Here are some things I’d like to add:

You have actually inspired me to make my ideal James a mix of the class 28 and J11
I like your design but I disagree with the use of the word "Fixed" when talking about the details and changes you made. The TV props were beautiful models drawing a lot from the early book illustrations. I felt they had a nice balance of cartoony yet realistic, and very eye catching. I don't think anyones personal design is any better or worse, just an interpretation from the source material.. but that's just me.

Wonderful revision of my favorite character from T&Fs! Love the mix of the LMS and LNER designs here it looks really good. Love seeing videos like these that let me relive parts of my childhood over and over again never getting old but getting better everytime. Keep up the amazing work man! It would be neat to see a Hybrid BoCo, Bear, Derek or another one of the diesel characters from the show

if i aint mistaken those "pipes" at the back of the tender are there to stop a vacuum from forming, so the tender has supply of air going into it, also so the tender doesn't compact

This is my favourite of the hybrid series so far, may we see Edward next please?
I still need a James with decently large wheels, but otherwise, this James looks great! Really wish that you could produce accurate rtr Thomas models, but an animated unboxing sounds too hilarious to not want. I also think Edward should go first, as Percy being a complete freelance design, everyone has their own take and it gets boring after a while, as it’s there is no standard basis. On the other hand, Edward has 4 (almost) equally good prototypes to base a design off of, that being the LNER D14 (the version with squared off windows is perfect), the D29, the D40, and of course the Furness railway K2, so there’s always something interesting to see.
