I bought the Massimo Dutti snakeprint sandals and ended up returning them because they were uncomfortable. It’s so sad because they are so beautiful 😍 But comfort must come first, otherwise they will just end up looking pretty in my closet while collecting dust 😅
Very nice outfits! Good ideas for spring or autumn for me, but not summer. It’s 36C/97F today where I live. I’d have heat stroke if I wore jeans, long sleeves, or anything nylon in the summer.
We’ve been having a heat wave here on the US West Coast, with daily high temperatures around 40C. I’ve stayed mostly indoors where I have room AC units, but to brave the outdoors, only a linen dress and sandals will work for me. Thanks for the hot weather style inspo, I find it so difficult to both stay cool and look chic in this weather! I miss the blazers and other pieces that I can wear in the other seasons, and our summers here last about five to six months! (With daily highs averaging about 30C May through October).

Schön, dass es dir wieder gut geht! Später diese Woche kann ich mich vielleicht wieder sommerlich kleiden. So ein komisches Wetter haben wir hier in letzter Zeit - mal heiß - mal kalt - Sonne - Regen...heute regnet es z.B. ohne Ende ☔ Ab Übermorgen sollen wir wieder warm haben ☀ Die Sandalen von Massimo Dutt sehen wirklich toll aus. Hoffentlich werden sie doch durchs Tragen bequemer.
My tip for shoes that hurt, taught me 50 years ago by a then-ancient cobbler: coat the insides of shoes lightly in the sire spots with Neatsfoot Oil, rub in and blot excess, then wear until comfortable, usually 30-60 minutes. It’s amazing how this has saved so many pairs of shoes for me that rubbed, pinched or were just too hard to break in. Of course, this only works on all-leather shoes, all I wear anyway - plastics and fabrics can’t be stretched or softened. Doing this will mean you can’t return them, of course, and avoid glued areas, some footwear glues are oil-soluble.
I happily ignore all garment care instructions and look only at the fabric and garment construction. I wash everything except for structured, lined, tailored items like coats, blazers and structured trousers/skirts. These often have interfacing or other reinforcements, or even some linings, that for some reason, aren’t washable (cheaper, I expect, which is all brands care about). I just got a white 100% cotton embroidered dress and it said “Dry Clean Only”. I laughed and threw it in a warm wash before I wore it, hung it up to dry and it looks beautiful, as I knew it would. It can even be chlorine-bleached if necessary! The ultra-conservative care recommendations like this are called “Low-Labeling” and brands do this so that they can deny returns! Silk, cotton, linen, wool and cashmere fabrics are washable, unless there are glued-on elements (glitter?), reinforcements or something like that, but I wouldn’t buy those anyway. (Most synthetic fibers are washable, too, but I won’t buy those). I have 50+ years of expert experience and have never damaged a single garment. But for those that need more information, the American books Home Comforts or Laundry (expanded and updated text on laundry alone) by Cheryl Mendelsohn are excellent resources. Home Comforts is more general, covering most homemaking topics, which even this career woman loves.

I really enjoy this type of video especially as I have bought many of your previous recommendations. I love how the colour of the Massimo Dutti skirt works with the green vest. I did get the green vest and I absolutely love it with the COS black turn up jeans, the COS string belt and the pointed Flattered flats. It's a new favourite outfit for me. I am on the waitlist for that St. Agni bag - it's a beauty!

I love how a woven leather bag just makes all your outfits summer-y even if they're leaning on the dark side. I'm debating between a daek brown St. Agni tote or the Bottega Parachute Andiamo. Absolutely love the BV but it's quite awkward worn with the long strap because the handles are so long
There must be a big quality difference between these two bags. I love this one by St.Agni but I would not recommend it for busy city life as it is open and very exposed. 💕

I think you should rest your feet a day or two and try on the MD snakeskin sandals again. Maybe they will feel better. There is nothing worse than shoes which hurt. I guess we all have gone through this… If you should ever find the same print, I think it’s snakeskin for a clutch or any other bag, please let me know. I’m looking for one and could not find it yet. A bag like that would be so so nice and could change a plain basic outfit into something great.

Hei! I can understand your wish not to be unkind,but when influencers are gifted items it is important that you all tell the truht,and that can be done without bashing a brand. It is a fair thing to mention that shoes are not comfortable. If everyone raves about some item that they were gifted and no other voices are heard,that is a shame for those who spend their money on this item based on only very good reviews. Only my thoughts. It’s 110 degrees here, just moved to this town and wasn’t prepared, since where I was from only went up to 67 degrees, so I simply can’t wear a blazer even in the evenings, can’t wear jeans or trousers
My pair of those Toteme trousers are too big, they didn’t have my size, so I had to order up one size. I think my regular size would look better, but I think Toteme has discontinued these items now - the trousers and the shirt, unfortunately. You are skinnier than me, and quite a bit taller, so oversized will be more flattering on you than on petite, thicker-waisted me! I really wanted those trousers in the brown, but didn’t stand a chance, they must have sold out in an hour!

Very inspiring outfits! I have the opinion that Massimo Dutti's shoes don't have the best quality. The soles are too tough. I believe that you can find much better shoes than these !
Some of their shoes are actually very comfortable, it depends really on the model. The cage sandals I have from them for example are really really comfortable. 💕
