This was fun, Brittany! The translucent powder Meghan used works nicely to lightly set foundation or under-eye concealer without settling into wrinkles or making a light to medium coverage foundation heavier. It works to reduce shine on the run, too. But, you have gorgeous skin and almost no wrinkles!!! Your own powder looks great on you, too. I hope you’ll use all or most of the products because they were all really nice.

@@RoyalFashionNews brittany do not torture your face :) pat the cream don't rub ;). this amount of touching with to much force will make oily skin more oily. silicones will clogg you pores so you do not want them. get a make up sponge for best effect

It really is a lovely product. It's not cheap, but it's become a staple now and I love that it doesn't settle into the creases under my eyes!
The ysl touche eclat is also one of my favorite products. Easy to apply and the finish looks excellent.

I think the makeup turned out amazingly i saw the video on the main channel and thought you looked different but amazing. The bobbi brown adds more definition to the face and looks more like a natural contour. The foundation looks wonderful and the concealer pen actually brightened up your eyes more. Princess Grace actually used to layer blush for contour the bobbi brown gives that effect while the nars rounds the face out.

So much fun to see the makeup loving side of you! You always have a natural makeup look. I am a makeup fan, so it's nice to see what you wear. I liked the Catherine side. I am a glow lover and I actually thought that mascara lengthened your lashes more. The Dior didn't seem to put a curl on the other side either. You are right about Charlotte products. It's almost like she does every shade of neutral to match all skin tones. Her products are very nice though. I own a few products that you mentioned, but yes, most of them very pricey ones. I always try to get nice products, but on sale. There are also some nice dupes out there though. I peep your beautiful new Mary Jane's on your shelf. That was also a fun video. I hope you can snatch the other color you wanted. Thanks for this fun video! 💄💅

Enjoyed watching you play with the makeup. No matter what your age, there's a little bit of "girly" in all of us. I am vey fond of eyeliner, mascara, and blush. I use powder for more coverage on "special occasions" which was recommended by an esthetician as appropriate for my aging skin (Boy, do I hate that term).
The YSL Illuminator likes being on the eye lid and especially above the lid / under brow - pulls the light in😘🥰🧡
I love this video! You should do more of these! The clarins lip perfector is super nice! The Georgio Armani foundation is a good one - I use it quite a bit. I use the Charlotte Tillbury foundation when I need more coverage!

For specific areas of the face that need more coverage (red spots, blemishes, under eye circles), it’s best to use concealer on those areas rather than a heavy foundation.

I wear mascara and occasionally a finger swipe of mauve to accent my green eyes...only on the eyelid part of the eye.
Because we weren't allowed to wear lipstick until age 18, my mom had us bite our lips for color. My sister and I could not wear lipstick because we bite it off from the habit of biting our lips.
However, it was fun to watch you go through the process and I was impressed with how quickly you did your face. 💜

I have to admit, love the Tilbury lip colors on you. Really nice flattering colors on you. Overall look was beautiful. On my phone, both sides looked about the same but beautiful.
The light pinks, lilacs, and darker lipstick look really nice and soft on you. Not a lot of drama, just very pretty!

I have hooded eyes too. I have been lining my eyes with a gel pencil in the waterline. And with the YSL, you can use that under and over concealer and foundation. It is not technically a concealer, but it is a great product to correct any shadowing. It is a Godsend for me during allergy season. Dont rub it in, just pat it in with your ring finger to blend out.
When I was your age I shad a similar skin type to you. So I must tell you that Clarins Beauty Flash Balm was absolutely fantastic for me. I advise you to give it a go.

I would use the darkest as an eyeliner that is one of my tricks. For the hard eyeliners use a lighter to warm it up. That is an old trick from the 80’s

Respectfully, I think you may have gotten better outcomes from these products if they were applied more “correctly.” A few tips…try tapping the powder off your brushes before buffing into your face…touche eclat is not really a concealer although it says it conceals somewhat…it’s more a highlighter or brightens darkness and smooths fines lines…Primer: instead of applying it like a moisturizer, try gently pressing it into your skin, in the the areas where you are oiliest, primarily your t-zone area/around your nose/chin/forehead areas. The makeup forever powder isn’t for the entire face necessarily…you can use a highlighter brush, tap the excess off the brush and apply to center of face lightly. Then take a clean powder brush or powder puff and gently “dust off” your entire face … Perfection! 😊

This is fun. On TV the Bobbie Brown blush looks a bit like a contour, the Nars one is very pretty. Urban decay has the best eye palettes. May I suggest you learn about patting on the concealer. As a spring chicken it doesn’t matter a lot but will when you get older. So the sooner you start the better so you don’t stretch the skin. Pat, Pat, Pat with your little or ring finger. Looking good Brittany.
This was a fun video, but I have a couple of suggestions. I taught make-up application for years and Brittany, I would recommend that you put your creams and everything else that you spread on your face and neck with TWO hands. Use the middle and ring finger on both hands at the same time. If you use one hand on both sides of your face, you put more pressure on one side, then on the other, stretching the skin. Around your eyes, never use anything but the pads of your ring fingers, it creates less pressure and less stretching of the skin. The skin around the eyes is extremely sensitive. Okay, now I will shut up, but you may want to treat your skin a wee bit more gently, especially around the eyes. It has to last and look good for many more years and btw, I wear make-up every day.

Merit foundation is also a concealer. Need a brush to apply. Feels like a cream but then has almost a powder texture. Sephora has to try, just love it. Faster in one step.
Eminence needs to be your friend. They make a blemish zapper thats as great as a script but feels fantastic.
Not fond of the shiny on your cheek. It created a dark line on the video. The left side was nicer but missing something.
