We fished off the Apache pier probably 10 years ago. I remember my cousins catching a small fish. They threw it back and it was eaten by a shark before it hit the water. Very impressive!

We always stay at the North Myrtle Beach oceanfront Sea Watch condos right next to a large RV park there across from a large gulf course. Relaxing, yet close to a Walmart and and to a Tangerine Outlet for rainy day shopping.

We went to Myrtle Beach for the first time with our camper in March. We stayed at Ocean Lakes (which is also fantastically cheap in off-season with great amenities and pull through spots) and found a fantastic place for seafood takeout Mr. Fish Seafood Market. They have such variety and make great recommendations.
Great price, food, and fun all rolled into a week. You were made for the stage and I would love to see the entire show. I was laughing out loud and my husband was giving me the sideways eyes. When our kids were young we vacationed in Myrtle Beach six years in a row and loved it. We stayed in condos called “A Place at the Beach.” It was so nice.

Huntington Beach State Park is awesome! We stay there all the time. Next time in Murrells Inlet try Provisions, the food is great, and the key lime pie is amazing! It comes in a jar of all things! Michelle would love it.
I have eaten at the Pier 14 restaurant. I found a Michael Koors purse on a bench and turned it into the manager. She told me the value of the purse was more expensive than anything that was in the purse. I bet the woman who lost it was frantic. Hopefully the manager found the owner via the phone or internet. My cousin and his wife spend every winter in Myrtle. The rent a 2 bedroom oceanfront condo for $1400 a month. I like Merrill's Inlet best and Myrtle Beach State Park and campground.

Don't just skip the Georgia coast. There are beautiful places beginning with Savannah, then the Golden Isles of Jekyll & St. Simon's, ending with Crooked River State Park near St. Marys (where I grew up). FYI!

We have camped at Huntington Beach campground many times over the years, it’s one of our favorite SC state parks. We love the large sites and it’s an easy walk to the beach and we’ve never found it to be crowded. We just might have to try the campground you are staying at tho. We were at Myrtle beach travel park, Thanksgiving weekend, its right next to Apache... we walked the beach to Apache pier ...Travel park has more amenities tho, if you like that... We were feet from the beach...loved it

We’ll, if you look in the video, we had enough room to park our truck beside our camper. Most places considered to be tight do not have room to park beside your RV. We’ve had sites bigger of course but these weren’t too bad, especially for the price right at the beach. 👍🏻😊🤓
Thanks for sharing, David. Prices do change for multiple reasons as you probably know. We compared prices comparing full hookup with 50 amp service on the same exact dates. We try to make comparisons realistic comparing apples to apples. These places prices change depending on the dates. 👍🏻😊🤓
My friend own one of the permanent campers (with an addition built on) at Apache Campground. We go there at least twice a year and it's my favorite spot at Myrtle Beach. It's such a great place to relax and chill. We can drive the golf cart anywhere we want to go, too.
We really liked it there at Apache Campground too. The golf cart would be handy and fun to ride around on. Lots of people have them there. It’s a fun place!

Lol From a drone shot it kinda looks like it but it is a very “beach” vibe and a very fun place to stay…especially for the price.
We always go early October. We only stay at Huntington Beach State park. You got us missing our favorite place. We could not go this year, Jim's mom passed away and had to cancel our trips. We may have seen you there.

Best value in my opinion is Myrtle Beach State Park. Big sites with nice shade and friendly people. A two minute walk to a beach almost all to yourself and no big buildings, just nature. The price is half of what you paid for a week. Still all the entertainment is right down the street. You can horseback ride on the beach too!
You have to compare the same dates. There’s a lot of great places to camp and the State Parks are always a great choice, however, Myrtle Beach State Park is NOT half the price we paid at Apache. Putting in the exact same dates, it actually shows the exact same price for a 30 amp site vs Apache’s 50 amp site. Myrtle Beach Staye Park is actually $385 for a 50 amp site vs Apach at $280 for the same 7 nights on the same dates. If you go online and compare the same dates, you will see. You have to compare apples to apples. So both would be a great value, it all depends on what someone wants, we all have different wants/likes. Some people don’t like some of the campgrounds with tight sites. Some like to be closer to “the action” some don’t. Some like to have more amenities and some don’t. Some people want to enjoy being outside without mosquitos and pesty bugs that you get in the woodsy areas like you get at Myrtle Beach State Park, but some people don’t care about that and want to be in those areas. With these both being close to the same price, it gives people the option to choose what they want. But again, it is not cheaper than Apache Family Campground. Note: We are NOT paid by Apache and we did pay for our site. This video was not a paid ad for Apache Family Campground…just giving our opinion.
Happy Thanksgiving to you two and your family We grew up camping each Summer at Lake Arrowhead Campground which was next door to Apache Campground in North Myrtle Beach South Carolina we had a pop up camper Later our parent got a 2# foot hard side RV trailer when they retired and took the grandkids camping at Apache Campground I remember being with friends from college to Charleston and Isle of Palms South Carolina a month before Hurricane Hugo hit that area and caused significant flooding and destruction Oh yeah my favorite Gluten Free beer that tastes like regular beer is Glutenberg comes in 6 varieties it's from Canada

That was a good price for almost breach front for a week. Places in destine that wouldn’t get you two nights.

Don't just skip the Georgia coast. There are beautiful places beginning with Savannah, then the Golden Isles of Jekyll & St. Simon's, ending with Crooked River State Park near St. Marys (where I grew up). FYI!

We have camped at Huntington Beach campground many times over the years, it’s one of our favorite SC state parks. We love the large sites and it’s an easy walk to the beach and we’ve never found it to be crowded. We just might have to try the campground you are staying at tho. As always thanks for another great video.
They both are great places to stay. One just has more amenities than the other and the other is more peaceful. 👍🏻😊🤓

We were at Myrtle beach travel park, Thanksgiving weekend, its right next to Apache... we walked the beach to Apache pier ...Travel park has more amenities tho, if you like that... We were feet from the beach...loved it

We’ll, if you look in the video, we had enough room to park our truck beside our camper. Most places considered to be tight do not have room to park beside your RV. We’ve had sites bigger of course but these weren’t too bad, especially for the price right at the beach. 👍🏻😊🤓

Thanks for sharing, David. Prices do change for multiple reasons as you probably know. We compared prices comparing full hookup with 50 amp service on the same exact dates. We try to make comparisons realistic comparing apples to apples. These places prices change depending on the dates. 👍🏻😊🤓
My friend own one of the permanent campers (with an addition built on) at Apache Campground. We go there at least twice a year and it's my favorite spot at Myrtle Beach. It's such a great place to relax and chill. We can drive the golf cart anywhere we want to go, too.
We really liked it there at Apache Campground too. The golf cart would be handy and fun to ride around on. Lots of people have them there. It’s a fun place!
We stay at Myrtle Beach Travel Park which is just down the road from there. We love the short walk to the beach
My family owned a cabin for several years at Apache. So many find memories! It’s a great campground and perfectly located.
We’re so glad it brought back some fond memories for you! 🧡 We really loved the vibe we got there also. A very close nit community. Someone mAde the comment that “it’s a parking lot”. Lol From a drone shot it kinda looks like it but it is a very “beach” vibe and a very fun place to stay…especially for the price.
We always go early October. We only stay at Huntington Beach State park. You got us missing our favorite place. We could not go this year, Jim's mom passed away and had to cancel our trips. We may have seen you there.

Best value in my opinion is Myrtle Beach State Park. Big sites with nice shade and friendly people. A two minute walk to a beach almost all to yourself and no big buildings, just nature. The price is half of what you paid for a week. Still all the entertainment is right down the street. You can horseback ride on the beach too!
You have to compare the same dates. There’s a lot of great places to camp and the State Parks are always a great choice, however, Myrtle Beach State Park is NOT half the price we paid at Apache. Putting in the exact same dates, it actually shows the exact same price for a 30 amp site vs Apache’s 50 amp site. Myrtle Beach Staye Park is actually $385 for a 50 amp site vs Apach at $280 for the same 7 nights on the same dates. If you go online and compare the same dates, you will see.
You have to compare apples to apples. So both would be a great value, it all depends on what someone wants, we all have different wants/likes. Some people don’t like some of the campgrounds with tight sites. Some like to be closer to “the action” some don’t. Some like to have more amenities and some don’t. Some people want to enjoy being outside without mosquitos and pesty bugs that you get in the woodsy areas like you get at Myrtle Beach State Park, but some people don’t care about that and want to be in those areas. With these both being close to the same price, it gives people the option to choose what they want. But again, it is not cheaper than Apache Family Campground. Note: We are NOT paid by Apache and we did pay for our site. This video was not a paid ad for Apache Family Campground…just giving our opinion.

We grew up camping each Summer at Lake Arrowhead Campground which was next door to Apache Campground in North Myrtle Beach South Carolina we had a pop up camper
Later our parent got a 2# foot hard side RV trailer when they retired and took the grandkids camping at Apache Campground
I remember being with friends from college to Charleston and Isle of Palms South Carolina a month before Hurricane Hugo hit that area and caused significant flooding and destruction
Oh yeah my favorite Gluten Free beer that tastes like regular beer is Glutenberg comes in 6 varieties it's from Canada
