Mudumalai wildlife sanctuary is also a Mudumalai National park and Mudumalai tiger Reserve, yes Mudumalai have its unique identification all the tiger reserve in the country. It is place in the tri-junction of the Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Kerala border and also it is located on the junction of the Western Ghats and Eastern Ghats. Mudumalai National park is also famous for the Mudumalai tiger reserve Jeep safari the forest department offering. you can see variety of animal sighting in the Mudumalai tiger reserve forest during the jeep safari like Elephant, Tiger, Bison, Wild Bear etc.,.
Safari is a major attraction at Mudumalai National Park. Mudumalai safari office is located at Thepakadu junction about 10km from Deep jungle home campus. The road that leads to the safari office runs through the jungle making the 10 km drive like a safari by itself. There is no advance safari booking option available at Mudumalai. They choose to operate on first come first serve basis. It is always advisable to reach the Mudumalai safari office at least 30 Mins before the safari start time to avoid any last moment disappointment.
The safari timings are between 7 AM and 10 AM and then again in the evening from 3 PM to 6 PM. Each ride is for one hour and the tickets can be purchased from the reception at Theppakadu. There is no option for online booking or reservation for Safari. The tickets at the counter are available for ₹340 per person in the van. Mudumalai National Park jeep safari costs ₹4,200 per trip. Many private jeep operators also offer their services, but they take you only to the “buffer area” of the park. Most animals can’t be seen there.
We took our First Jeep Safari Ride at 06:30 AM and During my Mudumalai Tiger reserve jeep safari we saw multiple packs of Deer, Bison and Elephant family and also heard roaring noises of tiger and also spotted a dead deer wherein tiger ran hearing our jeep noise and it was really a thrilling experience for us. you must also experience other animals witnessing in Mudumalai tiger reserve forest jeep safari. Mudumalai tiger reserve forest jeep safari is exactly located in the location called Theppakadu, near Masanagudi, Ooty, Nilgiris. Also its adjacent to Mudumalai Tiger Reserve the Nagerhole National park, Kabini tiger reserve, Bandipur tiger reserve present in various states.so do enjoy the video and please let me know your comments in the comments section.
