It is tough at first to see those beautiful dishes broken. But you make them even more beautiful! And these dishes most likely would just sit on a thrift store shelf or somewhere in a cupboard gathering dust. You really elevate these to a whole new level!! ❤❤❤❤
Gorgeous! Great ideas! Incredible artist! Thank you! 👏👏😍💝 Do not be bothered by the critics There is always some ignorant, jealous and useless people out there Pfff 😤 Please keep doing your magic 🙏
Some of those china pieces could be full of lead so you wouldnt want to use them to eat off anyway. So if they are only good for decoration purposes then it sounds reasonable to cut them up & use them as you do. A side note... you may want to let your customers know about the possible lead issues just to plsy it safe.
Your work is beautiful but very painful for me seeing all these treasures been destroyed... I have used always beautiful variety of porcelain all day round. Not only for special occasions. Completely unpaired is my favorite...
Well at least you create beautiful art with the broken pieces. Some people enjoy just dropping many plates, one after another just for a celebration. I say celebrate and dance with breaking of the plates. I also say keep creating beautiful mosiacs with the pieces of the plates you have broken. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder, huh...
The highest likelihood of lead exposure comes from highly decorated fine china & porcelain along with antique dishes made before 1971 which is pretty much everything she uses. Eating & drinking from these china & antique pieces is extremely dangerous which is why it would sit on a shelf collecting dust as she always says. Now she can transform the beauty into something else beautiful
Why would people even suggest you to stop creating? The original owner of the dishes either passed away, and their families didn't appreciate the dishes enough to also use or display them or they wouldn't be in collection of things she could use for her art, So many dishes like these sitting on old rusted shelves at flea markets and thrift stores and i never see hoards of people in line to buy them before the next person. I've never heared people waiting at the door of thrift shop 3 hours in advance so they scoop up the mismatched dishes and sets with missing pieces. So what is honestly wrong with her using these dishes how ever she likes and creates something else that someone else will also love as much as the person who once loved the dishes. I think everyone who made these comments and are angry about your type of art should rush out right now and buy up every dish and hoard them in their space before you have a chance to get to them 😂 and all the people throwing dishes out instead of taking them to thrift stores, start dumping them at those peoples homes with negative comments or in the land fill to make heaping piles of ironically broken glass. 😂😂😂 Girl keep doing what makes you happy in this world of negative people, and don't give one thought to those rude people who wouldn't and didn't purchase the dishes. Love your creativity ❤
I don’t understand why it bothers people. Would they rather you buy new glass from the store and let these get thrown out? With allllll the plates in all the thrift stores there’s no way they all get purchased
If you only made them into useable things like the teapot only instead of the scary rabbits i feel people would be less bothered but taking something with function and making it useless but pretty is kind of wasteful
Who watches a mosaic art videos and comments such a thing i...s the real question! People are werid, or not happy watching others love what they do bc they are miserable at what they do.
It’s not like she’s breaking the plates and throwing them away, she’s recycling the plates if anything.
Your very smart 😁
Right. Is there a shortage of plates we don't know about lol

Could you do a video on how you got into this stuff and how someone interested could get started!? I love your work! So beautiful.
I have so many broken plates tucked away for when I get a chance to do mosaics … who knows if/when that will happen 😅
I know, right? I am like "Oh I can do that!" No, I probably can't. Not at her level. 😂❤
But the end result is Oh So Beautiful!! 🤩
❤❤❤❤she's got class and style
I subscribed because of the uniqueness and the beauty of your art. You breathe new life into the forgotten and discarded.
