There's an actual second snippet to that "Knocking At Your Door" cut that actually includes the chorus. I've had these snippets for a good chunk of years now due to a guy, who's some kind of insider, who has actual access to Stevie's unreleased material. He released these snippets and a few more on Okayplayer years ago, which is how I came across them.

I thought’ People Move Human plays ‘ was due to be released in the early 80’s . I use to read regularly a magazine called ‘ Blues and Soul ‘ that we’re talking back then it was meant to be a double album . But never materialised. I wonder if some of the songs went on to be ‘ In Square Circle ‘ or ‘Characters . I heard Stevie say that certain songs were meant to be in Characters one been ‘Children still do live with a Dream . The other track that was meant to be on ‘Conversation Peace was ‘One Night in Paris ‘
These two snippets sound promising . Knocking at your door ‘ and the ballad which sounds so beautiful. It’s almost teasing us leaving us wanting more . ❤
