- What is the most-improved position group on Ohio State's team this year? That is the main topic Jonah Booker and Dave Biddle tackle on today's show. Could it be the offensive line? What about running back with not only TreVeyon Henderson returning (and hopefully staying healthy) but welcoming in Quinshon Judkins as a transfer? Or even though the Buckeyes' secondary was very good last year, could the answer to the main topic of the show be the defensive backs. Not only did Denzel Burke, Jordan Hancock and Lathan Ransom decide to return for one more year, but Davison Igbinosun is also back. Furthermore, the Buckeyes landed the best player in the transfer portal regardless of position, safety Caleb Downs.
Could it be quarterback with Will Howard likely replacing Kyle McCord? Could it be a different position? There are no right or wrong answers here (unless we say otherwise) but we thought it would be a fun topic to discuss.

Buckeye Bob here. Ok. You’ve changed my mind. I originally thought safety, but I now agree that there are many positions that have improved just as much. RB, LB, QB, and the list goes on. Pretty exciting!! Go Bucks!!
Great show as always guys. To really show my age, my favorite two was Brockington and Haden. Hopefully the Qb room will be, with a Qb that will get you two to five first downs with his legs.

JBook for the win, our coaches played Tommy E till the wheels fell off and there was no need. We had three LBs who could have filled in, every second year player should have meaningful reps. Our first four games, most of our players should have reps. We're entering an NFL style playoff, and players need rest when they can get it, and young players need meaningful reps just in case.

JBook came very close to saying what i have been thinking for a while now. Will Howard is going to help the Oline because of his running ability, not just when he scramles, but on all pass downs because DL's are going to have to rush the passer very controlled. They will NOT just be able to pin their ears back and rush upfield. They are going to have to play more of a contain on the edges, which really kills a DE's pass rush.

Did not see the LB take coming but I can see it after hearing it but the oline 100%. My 1st initial thought was the rb of course lol but we almost upgraded in every position except TE
Wills decision making alone is a million times better than Hondas. Watch Will vs Texas this past year at the ebbs of the game he single handedly almost beat em running for first downs, running & throwing the ball out after breaking 2 tackles, shit was wild

If the Oline is just good this offense will be UNSTOPPABLE. The one, two punch of Henderson Judkins, as an opposing DC you have to be scare to death if either of those guys gets a crease, they are housing it...
For where NIL was 2 years ago to where they are right now is ROCKET SHIP level movement!
I'll believe the OL when I see these monster RB's 'not' getting tackled behind the line of scrimmage - like last couple years ! Absolutely pathetic against the good D's. - - - I do like Will Howard - especially - as an upgrade over McCord !!! - - - He will have terrific skill help - it's just the OL - THAT COULD SLOW THEM DOWN !!!!! - - - I love the QB room and who 'might' be the backup ?!? -- Likely D Brown - but we shall see ?

Play having a bonafide.Offensive coordinator will definitely make the biggest difference. The in game adjustments on offense last year were severely lacking. Not to mention the game management mistakes and general lack of fuel for that were made because ryan day is trying to fix the problems in game
Kyle mccord's problem was in between his ears.. I'm not saying he wasn't smart but I think his dad was probably in his head too. How word is not going to have that problem.

I wish Air Noland the best with whatever he may be dealing with in his personal life. I am sure he may be wondering about his future at Ohio State. Personally, I thought he was really impressive in the spring game. I don’t see him being 5th on the QB depth chart based on a limited sample size during the spring game. Frankly, he is the most athletic of the QB room. I am puzzled why you need 5 scholarship QBs. That’s like walking into a hornets net.

Listen. I don’t know about yall, but it was Sony who’s two plays cost us the game against TTUN. He didn’t fill the gap on Blake corums final td right after Zac zinters injury. Then he blew his coverage on the trick play they ran to put them in field goal range and allowed them to take another 2 minutes off the clock..

He was also not playing the position he should of been. He was to big to be playing in the secondary. Was not playing lb enough to be bouncing back and forth. Now that he is a lb all time and at a place that makes more since for somebody 6-3 230 he will be fine
