Cher, knowing absolutely nothing about rescuing an elephant, still stepped up to the plate - and then some - and got it done. One of the busiest entertainers in the world went boots on the ground. Not too many would do that. God bless her.

Cher's helping wildlife is one of the kindest things she has done. She has lots of money and doesn't have to use it to help our earth's animals. She does though and is honestly the most caring. Not only does she sing like an angel she cares like an angel for animal's. Ii don't have any money and my wish more than anything is to have a miniature female dog. I'm mobility chalanged

In early 90's, I used to visit Islamabad zoo frequently with my sons. My sons had a special relationship with Kavaan. The keeper at that time used to let them feed Kavaan. After some 20 yrs when they visited again, the keeper remembered them and told other visitors how these (young men) were frequent visitors when they were small boys. Seeing Kavaan, I had this feeling that maybe he also recognises us, the way it was looking at us.

Sadly, 35 years and not One Pakistani cared about the health or well-being of this elephant! 35 Years! No Compassion or Empathy! It took, One American that Understands, Freedom! Music so healing for the Soul!
The FreeKavan movement started from Pakistan. It was Pakistanis who saw the plight of Kaavan and decided to go to social media with it . Others including Cher joined it. Please investigate before writing these type of irresponsible statements.

A very nice thing to do and she got some media coverage about it. CHER looks great in this interview sometime she looks very strange now. All the cosmetic, fillers has made her look strange when she smiles. CHER looked her very best in the mid 80's-1999. She still looks great on stage all made up big hair, costumes etc......
