      $400 Build:
      Remove the Ryzen 1600, RX 570, and G.Skill Ram and replace with the following parts (You can also exchange the Thermaltake 500W for the 430W variant):
      Ryzen 2200G - $78 Amazon
      G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB (2x8) F4-3200C14D-16GVK 3200 CL14 - $120 Newegg
      The $400 build would be equivalent (after a stable all core OC at 3.8 GHz, and a little tightening on the RAM timings) to an i5 4690 and a GTX 750 ti in gaming performance. So ESports titles should be fluid at 1080p high, and most AAA titles are 900p low-med playable. The $500 build is a WAY better option as you will get a great 1080p high experience. As with any budget oriented build, things are always up for change, and little changes in budget can make a HUGE difference in what you can obtain. Trying to get used parts is always a great way to save money, especially by reusing an existing case or getting a used for next to nothing. Doing that alone can save you $40, allowing you to step up to an RX 580 or adding a 240GB M.2 drive to the $500. In the $400 build's case, you can swap the 2200G out for the 2400G giving you 4 extra threads and further helping out your gameplay experience.

      That's too bad. I just bought a Thermaltake Smart ProRGB 650W 80+ Bronze for a new 2600x build 7 months ago. Draws were 7 year warranty and Japanese caps, and it was on sale. I always over spec power supplies so there running in the low/normal zone. It is whisper quiet though. If it was noisier than I imagined it should be, then I would have RMA'd it or got Amazon to replace it. Irritating noise is unacceptable as that could be mean there's other issues. Fortunately being in my late 50's I filter higher frequencies naturally. Be good to yourself and don't suffer the noise because it really shouldn't do that. Also, that's why I went modular, if the PSU goes bad, 4 screws, unplug the cables and off it goes. And the test of a good company is how stressful their RMA system. I've only had to RMA hard drives many years ago and Western Digital was excellent.

    $100 in labor, OEM key, and initial Windows installation isn't a bad deal IMO. I spend a lot of time building a computer to make sure it looks good when it's done, and I like to think I'm worth it. It's another reason why independent builders don't make this a full time job because system builders are well established, buy in bulk, get wholesale deals from various companies, and have an assembly line of sorts to get things done faster.

    • @DawidDoesTechStuff
      @DawidDoesTechStuff  Před 4 lety +2

    A thing to note about ratings and reviews for amazon sellers that have a bunch of different options/configurations listed on the same page. The reviews and ratings are for ALL of them combined. Not just the one you have selected. You have to look at each review individually to see what exact product it went to. That's likely the reason it has 291. And I bet most of them aren't for that particular one.

    I got a cyberpower GMA600 gamer Master and i love it! It can run 90 to 120 FPS in fortnite. It sometimes drops to 70 though. The most FPS i saw it went up to was 144 on fortnite. This is my first ever gaming PC and its a good starter PC. If you already had PCs and you want to get a Good running PC don't get a cyberpower PC. A cyberpower pc is a starter PC. I do want to upgrade my ryzen 3 to a ryzen 7 and i want to upgrade my graphics card to a 1060 since i got a 1030 but the pc is good. I recommend you to get it for a starter PC and i guess its also good cause i got a 144Hertz Sceptre gaming monitor..

    Can you let me know which computer you would recommend, on a budget of about $2500-3000 USD? I am looking for a higher-end computer, but I am not sure which one to get since there is so much BS going around these days.
