Selfcontrol, if kids don't learn to wait early on it's going to just make the rest of their life so much harder. Even when I was still little I'd already notice other kids doing annoying things my mom would never let us get away with. We often surprised other families with our manners.

She corrected her kid in a very assertive and respectful way, which IS a perfect family dynamic, good manners should always be enforced, or you'll just raise spoiled disrespectful brats 🤫. But hey, if you like to let your own children talk bad and walk all over you and your authority as a parent, just say that. 🥱

I grew up with my parents being separated. My mom and her husband at that time failed to properly teach me manners. But, when i visited my dad every 15 days, any bad manner and habit i had were whipped away. Even if he was really rough with me, i appreciate it.
