Thank you for this fabulous in-depth review, Deni! I’ve been a DVC member since 2017 and have loved it so far. Unfortunately, there are no Moonlight Magic events happening during our upcoming WDW trip at the end of the month, BUT we do have tickets to both After Hour parties happening that week! I am looking forward to mostly experiencing Guardians for the first time and trying out Roundup Rodeo BBQ! I was lucky to secure dining reservations! 😅 Of course, we will be saying “farewell” to Trail’s End as well. 😢
I think what most intrigues me about a Moonlight at Epcot is getting to ride Guardians over and over again and the three snack coupons. 😂 I have a friend there right now and she told me that Guardians is now her favorite coaster EVER! I can’t wait!!!

Great insight, Deni, on Moonlight Magic. I’ve been with DVC since 2000 and haven’t done this yet. Great tips and I think the fireworks and snacks would be at the top of my list!

Love the Moonlight Magic Events. Coming from NJ and having to book a DVC room at 11 months, it’s sort of hit or miss that we’re there when they have one. We’ve been to several and they are so much fun. The fireworks are awesome. We’re coming this September and there will not be one this year when we’re there. Thanks for the tips. Great video.

How far in advance do you find out about moonlight magic and the after hours??? Being in California I have to buy airline tickets. If in California, I’d just drive. Also, do you have to be staying at a dvc resort at the time of the event?
What a cool event. I know it’s a controversial opinion but I love Harmonious lol. And that Guardians ride brings back good memories.
Hi Deni! I would love to see your review on the After Hours at HS and the H2O Glow Night at Typhoon Lagoon and how they differ from this in terms of crowd level. I thoroughly enjoy your reviews and would like to know what you think of those. I'm thinking of trying them out for the first time for my visit in June.
I found a way to stay at a DVC Resort for very little money. I can easily get SSR or OKW. I used to do an RCI exchange for DVC with my WorldMark Timeshare. I will now have to join Interval International Exchange to get in to a DVC Resort. A number of years back. I was on a 2 year waitlist for the other Florida DVC Resorts. We decided to stay at the DVC Kidani Animal Kingdom Lodge. This was around the Easter time frame. We all know how busy Disneyworld parks gets around the Easter time frame. We know Disney also rents out DVC Resorts. We paid off our Timeshare over 25 years ago. When we count our Yearly maintenance fees and exchange company fees. We saved about 8 thousand dollars for a 2 bedroom in Animal Kingdom.
