Oh my goodness, you really got this bag!! Thank you so much for doing that! I’ve been kind of obsessed with it lately! I think I’m going to wait a bit longer till you’ve had a chance to use it and can share your thoughts on the pros and cons. I find myself over analyzing everything lately.

I was looking at the Sac De Jour Nano but will probably get this instead.
Will probably be less inclined to baby this one, still has top handle but is lighter, has more security features, the strap is more substantial and it comes with an SLG instead of a useless lock and key.

I have the Luna bag, but i've also been eyeing the Song bag. This is perfect timing!
Same I end up getting the soft green luna bag. I was eyeing for the Song but Im not so keen with the opening. No regrets with my Luna at all
@@Maria-eh6eq I was worried that the green wouldn't go with a lot of outfits, but it's very subtle and surprisingly neutral. I love mine as well!
Thanks for the review - I've seen so many ads for them too! For the buckle type strap in the middle I think you may have to use both of the gold buckle hardware pieces to secure it

I have the medium Songmont in the same color which is the perfect size for me. It does have the updated closure which just slides together which I consider much better. I did spray my bag to protect it after testing it. I love the bag and would highly recommend. 🥰

I've had medium Song bag in the Cream Apricot color (old version) for 2 months. It gives Picotin vibes which is a bag that's been on my list for some time! The Song bag become my everyday bag because of its neutral color and functionality. I personally think it's an awkward fit worn crossbody, so I mainly wear it top handle and do not have issues with the security/buckle closure since it's closer to my body.
I, unfortunately, experienced the same issue that other customers have called out - receiving the wrong color! Thankfully, customer service was quick to respond to my emails and resolve by sending me the correct bag at no charge.
Glad to hear about their customer service. You’re the second person to comment on their customer service being good, so that’s 👍. I can see how the medium size would be a bit awkward as a crossbody bag but absolutely lovely hand held or in the crook of the arm! Enjoy yours!

@@helentran7893 it’s buttery smooth full grain leather. The inside is lined with a different shade of the full grain leather and the pockets are lined with silk. I’ve been carrying it daily for a few weeks. No scratches or marks that I can see on the leather.

I just got my luna bag recently and I do love it. Got no regrets buying it. I was debating getting the song i like the structure except its too open for me.
I just got the Luna bag recently. I like it so far. The quality is really nice, and I personally find it pretty easy to transition the style. It also holds a good amount.
I recently ordered the Luna bag in the lovely soft green. I liked the bag - a lot - but unfortunately it was just too small! When I actually unpacked it, my standard wallet would not fit in the bag and allow it to close; the curve on the bottom actually means that there's a lot less usable space inside the bag unless all of your items are on the smallish side. Customer service was lovely, though.

Thanks for the review-the bag looks unique, but its inability to securely close would drive me “buggy.”Recently, I lost a SLG from a bag that did not securely close, so my concern is justified. Other Songmont styles are of more interest to me.
Totally understand! I’m going to have to test out the bag and see how I feel about the open top.
I ordered a bag from Songmont after seeing one on CZcams.
I think that the bag I received was well made, however, I didn’t like the quality of the leather and decided immediately to return my Luna bag.
I took longer than it should have taken to get my return label and I did have to pay return shipping, which was ok.
If the leather quality was up to snuff, I would have kept the bag. Also, black wasn’t available in some styles that interested me, which was strange. You could get any color you wanted as long as it was in the beige family.

Hi, I actually kept this bag for only a few months and then eventually gifted it to my friend because it was very much her style. She loves it and carries it often, especially when we meet up. She doesn’t mind the open top, whereas I prefer bags with more security. Anyway, the bag seems to be holding up well with her. Hope that helps some.
It looks like the small version. The mini version has a different way to attach the straps .

I hear you. I think you’d have to be mindful of where you are going given how open the bag is. Definitely not a travel bag in my mind, since secure closure is important.

This is a Chinese owned brand. The story goes, the founder previously worked at Google and was not happy with the handbag options out there for modern working women, so she launched this brand, and her mom and aunts in China run the production back in China.

The bag looks weird, . looks like a lantern.
I would prefer the luna bag or the tofu bag.
However, I’m not too fond of the brand.
Their bags are made in China, so I can’t trust the way they treated the leather.
