The only time I have seen a fan base so show much love to a manager who was doing poorly enough to be sacked was Arsen Wenger at Arsenal. That was a man who brought a club their glory days, kept an average squad in the champions league year on year, and was there for decades, and even then a huge portion of their fans wanted him out.
Marcelo has built more love in 4 years than one of the most successful managers in premier league history did in 20.
    Truly incredible.
I can understand why he had to go, and I am truly optimistic for the future, but this man has done more for my club than I could have ever imagined. I hope he always has a place in Leeds.

Times change, men pass, but I think Bielsa has left a mark on the club, on the city, he recovered the pride of his people for his club, I think the Leeds fan has the same passion as the Argentine fan in the sense of belonging to its colors, it has given respect to its players, some of them in the national team (something unthinkable years ago) It's a critical moment for the team and you could see it coming, I don't know if it was due to MB's blindness or the players who didn't want to or didn't know, Leeds will be in my affections, don't lose that passion for the club, win or lose, don't lose identity because rich owners with dubious promises.

I'm Argentinian. And believe me: it hurts us to all. We are united with Leeds forever. Because football is that: risk. Go forward. Not giving up. But for that, you need to have resources and a whole team convinced with you: and the current players no longer believed in Marcelo and turned their back on him. They should have resisted. Having fought for someone who never betrayed them. There are players in Leeds who come from the Championship and with Bielsa, they continued to play: that is loyalty. Bielsa was beaten by teams with millions of euros ahead. And with Bielsa they could save the season. God luck Leeds.

I felt in love with this team, this club, this city. The first seasons… Leeds was very near to up to the premier. I was so sad! But I knew that next year Marcelo will do it. And he did it! It was incredible the pandemic happened, nothing stop him. I remember me thinking the world is so fucking injustice, the fans waited so much this moment, and now nobody can be in the stadium. One of our games true greats, the personification of grace, humility and morality, no acting up, no blaming others, no bad mouthing the opposition. How many else can we say that about these days? A mere few at most. God Bless Marcelo and thanks for reminding us of Total Football; how the game shoukd be played!

Such a good human in a 'sport' that has become so filled with money, greed and a complete lack of decency and integrity on and off the pitch. I feel in a way he is too good a man to be involved in a sport like this. Despite everything he conducted himself with class and humility which I will sorely miss. I only wish I could personally thank him for changing the face of Leeds United and for giving us hope after years of being in the wilderness. I feel like I am in mourning, but most of all I feel he should have been allowed a rightful send off at the end of the season if he had wished to leave and I would happily have sacrificed being in this shark infested, money grabbing, play acting 'league'. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Marcelo and I hope the Gods allow you to read this some day

From a world figure with responsibilities to a stranger in his 70"s of no account , I received a short letter in broken English with an apology and appreciation of my feelings . Vaya con dios

I honestly can't think of any manager or coach who could've got us promoted with the squad he inherited.
His brand of attacking football was the best I've seen at Leeds since the Revie days.
But injuries have killed us this season not once have we put out are strongest team.
Thank you Marcello you gave us Leeds fans an unbelievable time
You will always be a Leeds legend
