Draw INSTAGRAM HIGHLIGHT COVERS| PROCREATE TUTORIAL | Selling highlight icons on Etsy

Hi, I am Sierra, a spiritual illustrator living in Auckland, New Zealand.
In this video, I walk you through the process of how I created Instagram highlight covers for my instagram and also for selling on Etsy (and my website).
These magical icons are so much fun to draw. I drew the whole lots of them in one drawing to import into canva as I figured out it is faster this way than uploading so many small files.
The video shows you how I drew two of the icons: the whale, spirit animal; and the book of shadows.

I use Canva and save the highlights as jpeg file, also can sell as editable Canva template on Etsy so customers can change background colours

Does anyone know where i can also sell them ? A lot of people say that Etsy is expensive and I don't have money for start. ( My parents say that I have to do it myself)

You don’t need to pay money to open an Etsy account. You need to pay to list your product and Etsy also will take the cut on your profit. The listing fee is abt $0.20 - $0.40 per listing. I think there are other places to sell digital products but I don’t know how much is listing fee compared to Etsy.

What is the point of canvas? Why can’t I just save it individually on procreate?

You can if you want. I sell editable template of these on Etsy so customers can open Canva link and change background colour, save in any size they d like. Plus on Etsy, the size of file to upload is limited and most customers don’t like to have to unzip file.
