I'm not perfect but it's astounding how many "parents" are willing to drink/do drugs with their children present. No decency to even get someone to watch their kids while they drink. I remember my childhood, my mother was an alcoholic and it definitely put a dent in our relationship. I haven't even hugged her in years. Im a mother to a married 30 year old & in this case even I, as her mum, have to admit that she just seems to love arguing & even in front of my granddaughter.
Its so dysfunctional & everyone walks on eggshells when she's like that. I do believe that all her peers at school were quite similar. She even says that she enjoys falling out & having a row over the most banal things.

We don’t know if he knew the child was hurt, the son was upstairs and asleep when they got home, it was the 5yr old daughter that was injured. It was obviously uncharacteristic for her to do this, because he was in shock this happened, I think you need to give him a break, because you can tell he is in shock.

facts. i was married to a woman like that. she used to come home drunk at 2AM and start yelling at me and hitting me every night. i put up with it for three years and i tried so hard to make the marriage work but it didn't. i've been divorced since 2019 and have never been happier.
