    I just set up the direct deposit with my HR within Walmart pay portal and I just allocated 30% of my paycheck to my savings. I can’t wait to get the 4.6 APy percentage.

    Ok so i just signed up for a sofi account, reason being to get my S.S.D.I. checks directly deposited, so can i just give the social security office the account # and routing number, to set up direct deposit? Or do i have to set it up through the app?

    When can I expect my first Direct Deposit for Social Security Disability usually dated the third they send three days before the third. And what time of day?

      If you recently set up a Direct Deposit to your SoFi banking account, it usually takes 1 to 2 pay periods to update (become active). Once deposited, your funds should be available immediately.

    I tried to fill use the prefilled form but I kept getting an error code…
    so I typed in my routing and account number on my companies website… how long will it take for me to get the $300 welcome money? And will it go straight to my checking or savings?

      Hello Kobe. We're sorry you had issues getting the form prefilled. There is a 25-day evaluation period for you to earn at least $5,000 in direct deposit to qualify for the $300 payout. Once your 25-day evaluation period is over, you will receive the bonus in your SoFi Checking Account!

      Hi Dwight, thank you for reaching out. You are able to set up a joint account with your spouse to have both direct deposits sent to either the checking or savings account. • @SoFi
      @SoFi  Před rokem

      Thank you for your response. We do offer a physical direct deposit form that can be downloaded from the app or web browser. Once logged into the app, go to the banking dashboard and select the "More" option. From there, select "Direct Deposit" and "add a new direct deposit". Then click "set up manually" to download the form. We hope this helps!

    What about for the self employed?

    • @SoFi
      @SoFi  Před 7 měsíci

      Hello Irene, typically a qualifying direct deposit would be from an employee or benefits provider.
      You can see more on qualifying deposits here: support.sofi.com/hc/en-us/articles/10546223570189-What-is-a-direct-deposit-and-what-is-considered-a-qualifying-direct-deposit-

      So, looks I won't be able to use my square business account for direct deposit to take advantage of the 4.60% APY? @@SoFi

    • @SoFi
      @SoFi  Před 7 měsíci

      Yes, regrettably merchant transactions would be considered non-qualifying direct deposits. We apologize for the inconvenience.

    Can I use Direct Deposit from another bank?

    • @SoFi
      @SoFi  Před rokem +2

      Hi Moya! You can set up an external transfer to your SoFi bank, which is considered an external ACH transfer. A direct deposit is something that comes from either an employer or a government entity.
      We hope this helps! 👍

    You can't deposit mobile checks into your checking account unless you place $500 in it. None of my other bank accounts require this. It's ridiculous.
    I'll continue using Chase bank. Less hassle.
