Personally I prefer the style of the first but there's no denying this shading technique has easily beat the previous one into the ground. XD Overall it's a great pic and i'm glad you came back to such an old and iconic piece of yours.

The original is how I found your channel in the first place! Your anatomy has gotten so much better compared to before! Especially your noses and paws, they're amazing. Even your colour theory has gotten better too! And your shading! You just keep getting better at everything!

what size canvas do you usually use? this is stunning btw!

Unfortunately I'm unable to work on art for long periods of time anymore, so I almost always work on a piece for just a few hours at a time over several days/weeks, taking regular breaks c:

Honestly, the only reason is 'cos I don't want to pay for an upgrade; this version still suits my needs, so for me personally it's not worth the expense to get a newer version c:
