Groove Garden is a jazz-funk band founded by the Romanian pianist Sorin Zlat, which brings together experienced and well-known musicians on the Romanian and international jazz scene. The musical genres approached by the group are Gospel, Funk, R&B, Soul, Fusion, Electro, Latin the repertoire being composed of rearranged songs by famous artists such as: Gregory Porter, Earth Wind And Fire, Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Michael Jackson but also original compositions.
In 2019, the band received from the "Jazz and Blues Gala", an event organized annually by the Muzza Foundation, the Award for Best Band. The group is currently working on new compositions that will be on the their new album.
