I was 25 when Levels came out. Somehow Avicii has created a nostalgia for me that only a few other artists/musicians have achieved. His music is so emotional, fun and uplifting. He (Tim) had the gift of expressing the human condition through sound and music.
Even if I'm 70years old, even if I'm on my wheel chair, I'll tell my grand childrens to listen to this amazing music.
May the soul of this legend, through the grace of God, rest in peace. Avicii will forever be missed but will never be forgotten.

The reason why I love Avicii's songs along with a few more artists like Alec Benjamin, Porter Robinson and Marshmellow is that he doesn't just blast you with a bunch of loud "music" but instead he give you songs filled with emotion and this new type of happiness you only feel when you listen to his creations. That's the bes type of music in my opinion, if not the only type of true music. Music isn't just sound, it is something that drives you, allows you to sit in the backseat and rest as it takes the wheel of the car. Music is the one driver that will drive you towards smiles, tears, dancing, and other car rides. Avicii's songs weren't just noise, they were music.

me. i remember the last Fall holiday (?) when i went to Stockholm and listened to this song and drew a picture of this song. It's crazy how you can remember things that have happened so clearly because of the music you've listened back then, they give you some kind of a nostalgia. I only got into Avicii's music when I was going through a dark time. Like I'd be sitting in A &E listening to it through my headphones. It was a little comfort when I was very mentally ill. I just felt like Avicii got it.
