You said you didn’t know much about Dimash, so here goes:
Born in Kazakhstan in May 1994 (i.e., he’s currently 29), Dimash comes from a musical family and has been studying music all his life. He came to global notice in 2017, when he performed on a popular tv show in China and won the hearts of millions! He’s extremely versatile - basically, he can sing whatever genre he wants, from pop to folk, rap to rock and opera, in many different languages, whilst playing a number of different musical instruments. (He has been to the UK once, for a concert in London in 2018.)
However, the most important thing you need to know about him is that he is a genuinely kind and humble person, who is passionate about achieving peace in the world ....

As a UK Dear (what Dimash calls his fans,) I'll say that you have a lot to discover yet as Dimash sings all genres, much of it being his own original music. Even if he does a cover it won't be like anything you've heard before as he's not a copyist, he's a very original, innovative artist.
Yesterday he shocked us all across the world by turning an old Kazakh folk song into a jazz number! No two songs ever sound alike as he uses different tools from his immense vocal toolbox to twist and turn through all the possibilities of music and his music videos are generally mini movies and works of art in themselves.
Welcome to Dimash it will be a journey that you never know what he will do. This is just a taste of his vocal capabilities and range. He sings many styles in many languages and plays many instruments. I always forget the numbers but others will tell you. Stranger should be next it’s amazing show of his range and is in English

The X Factor is a fake video, & also if you run across the World's Best, please avoid....Dimash was totally lied to, then treated very rudely by the US judges, & since then he said he'd never enter another competition. All those videos have been chopped & shortened so are not worth even trying. Lot's of other video choices for the songs to be seen elsewhere.
