Fantastic interview with an incredable blues player. I saw her and her band warmup for Jimmy Vaughn at the Ludlow Garage in Cincinnati, OH a few years ago. She is coming to this area again this summer for a blues festival and I can't wait to be there for that.

Love the top on the stratocaster ! Its got woodgrain popping out and spreading from under the bridge. Such a nice looking instrument, for such an attractive young woman. I'm going to listen more closely to her music, and I hope she plays The Horseshoe Tavern, or one of the other venues here in Toronto?

I saw her play last night in (July 25) Oklahoma City. She can sing and she can definitely play. Met her after their show and she was very nice and open to conversation. I'll definitely be going to see her play again.
What do people think on the topic of guitar positioning as far as the strap goes. What are pros and cons to hanging the guitar lower or higher. What left and right hand positioning are proper/healthy in the long term??
Good question. Me personally i like to have my guitars close up to me but i olay with seven and eight strings. Even with srats i like them close to me but indo use my les paul lower down.
I put the guitar on my knee, sitting position, and adjust my strap so that the guitar hangs in the same position when I stand up. But that's just me.
I don't know that there are any set pros,and cons.Its really just down to where it feels comfortable on each person.

About the switch, just loosen the nut, turn the switch 180 degrees, and tighten the nut. Fixed.
Had a good laugh when she said she stole the pickup switch end off her custom shop for the touring guitar, but you gotta do what you gotta do!
