    [Chorus]
Oh where, oh where can my baby be?
The Lord took her away from me
She's gone to heaven, so I got to be good
So I can see my baby when I leave this world
    [Verse 1]
We were out on a date in my daddy's car
    We hadn't driven very far
There in the road, straight ahead
A car was stalled, the engine was dead
I couldn't stop, so I swerved to the right
I'll never forget the sound that night
The screaming tires, the busting glass
The painful scream that I heard last
    [Chorus]
Oh where, oh where can my baby be?
The Lord took her away from me
She's gone to heaven, so I got to be good
So I can see my baby when I leave this world
    [Verse 2]
When I woke up, the rain was pouring down
There were people standing all around
Something warm running through my eyes
But somehow I found my baby that night
I lifted her head, she looked at me and said
"Hold me, darling, just a little while"
I held her close, I kissed her our last kiss
I found the love that I knew I would miss
But now she's gone, even though I hold her tight
I lost my love, my life that night
    [Chorus]
Oh where, oh where can my baby be?
The Lord took her away from me
She's gone to heaven, so I got to be good
So I can see my baby when I leave this world
    [Outro]
    Ooh, ooh-ooh

That was 1 of the first songs I learned in the guitar I learned it in C though it taught me to play an open F it was on a guitar that was actually called a Boeing and was it ever what a piece of crap but if you could play that thing you could play anything keep it up maybe we will see you become all you want to be thats the great thing about the guitar you get out what you put in your singing needs a little polishing but I have no doubt with your confidence you'll find it and be equally great by the by I cant sing for shit but I never really put much into it I can, carry a tune and do some, harmonising but thats the extent of it glad I came across your video it took me,back thanx
